Good value
The breadboard arrived within the stated time window given by Amazon. The main packaging was a cardboard envelope which slightly damaged the internal box containing the breadboard, but given that the thing is mostly solid plastic, there was no actual damage. The breadboard has detachable power rails and also has dovetails for clipping it onto bigger boards or peripheral modules. There is a foam padded adhesive at the back for permanent mounting, behind the adhesive the connector rails are revealed. The connector rails seem to be of the standard type: tin-coated steel. The connector strips have a 2 point contact configuration which is common for these low voltage- low current breadboards. The spring connector rail is able to handle wire cross-sections down to about 0.3mm in diameter firmly. Wires/pins below 0.2mm may not have reliable contact. The photo attached shows the contact points on a standard square cross-section pin header which is very common with hobby modules. Overall I am pleased with the build quality of the board considering the price. It is intended for low power & low signal frequency temporary connections and I expect it to be able to do just that for many years.

Cheaply adequate with minor flaw
The cheapness of the price makes the boards "OK". Whilst it's a minor niggle in the grand scheme of things it's still an irritation: the power tracks don't run the full length of the board! The power tracks run only half the length of the board there's a little gap in the middle. If you want power all along the length of the board you have to jumper in the middle of the power tracks! If I'd wanted a half-sized 400-point breadboard then I'd have bought some, but I wanted the full length 830 plus boards. As I say it's an irritation but it's one that's lost them a star, plus another star for the general cheapness.

No issues at all - recommended!
[Full disclosure - I received this item for free but this does not bias my review and it was not conditional on a review being submitted]Not wishing to give my age away but It must've been 20+ years since I last bought a breadboard. I use them a lot, and not just for prototyping - it's not all that uncommon for my finished circuits to remain on a breadboard for quite some time before being moved over to a more permanent stripboard solution. Quality and reliability is therefore important to me and on this front the MB-102 certainly doesn't disappoint. The price is excellent too and represents great value for money. I won't comment on the size/layout as the suitability of that aspect depends entirely on the size/layout of the circuits that you're building, but do consider this aspect before making your selection.

Cheap as chips breadboard
Needed some breadboards for prototyping; these were quite cheap. So far had no problems with them, quite happy with the purchase.

Sockets are unusually stiff
These are ok, but they are really really stiff. So putting in resistors etc tends to make the legs bend unless you use pliers.

Bread and butter product
The breadboard was delivered swiftly and was very much as expected. What can you say about a breadboard, if you need one its invaluable and this one does exactly what it says on the tin. One little bonus is the description you get in the info available, for first time users it helps show you how to use it.

Alright, being the cheapest on Amazon...
Main advantage of getting this board is that it is nice and compact; however, it is made very cheaply! The rail's aren't all aligned properly, but after some poking around inside they do start working as they should...
