Best Marvel Starting Point. Pick this up if your starting.
This was a great introduction to marvel comics. It covers all the big events and found it fairly easy to follow for a newbie. Not a lot to say. Definitely pick this up.

Dull but worthy
“History of the Marvel Universe” collects the six-issue (2019) series. This is not a story as such but a ‘narrative’, ostensibly told by Galactus while he and Franklin Richards await the end of the universe and the beginning of the next one.It is a superbly-illustrated narrative, beginning with the creation of the current universe and the various cosmic beings, who, in turn create another set of beings and so on and so forth until humans begin to appear about the middle of the first issue. There is a bit of “retconing” tucked away – Thanos’s origin is reset to the Starlin one, on Titan the moon of Jupiter, while Shang-Chi’s origin has lost both Fu-Manchu and the Yellow/Golden Claw (or did I imagine that particular retcon) as his father, and it is now just an “International Crime Boss”.Viet-Nam has now been renamed to protect the “ten year rule” that Modern Marvel History began ten years ago from whenever we are “now” with the FF’s journey into misery, and the recent Avengers business involving Celestials and the 1,000,000 Years’ BC Avengers has been slotted in.If you are interested in the subject, then this is an interesting book, and if not, well, I read my local library’s copy; go ye and do likewise.
