Parker 1950375 Super Quink Permanent Refill Ink Bottle, 56.70 g - Black

I bought a bottle of Parker Quink in this brand recently, which was said ‘permanent’ and was £3 more expensive than the non-permanent ones. When the product arrived, I realised that there was no sign of the word ‘permanent’ on the box or on the label of the bottle. I thought Oh dear, I paid more money to buy to a wrong thing! However, when I started to use it, I realised that though it is nowhere near as permanent as what I thought it would be, it is so nice to use. It is smooth. It makes writing so easy and so enjoyable. I am actually quite pleased that I have bought it. It proves that £3 more payment is worthy.

This ink is great quality, the consistency is perfect and the flow is smooth out of my various fountain pens. I prefer a traditional bottle like this as opposed to cartridges because the bottle lasts longer.The colour is perfect- a deep black and is great for official documents or just leisurely use.It works well with both Parker fountain pens and non Parker pensThe lid is easy to remove and tighten. My only fault is that when the bottle gets to be less than half full it's difficult to fill up cartridges because the neck of the bottle is so small to get your fingers into to fill the cartridge. Hello. I would just like to say that I think, this bottle of ink is a very useful and valuable companion to a cartridge pen or fountain pen. To me, it is good value for money in that it will last for a reasonable length of time, depending, of course, on how much you use it . I like to use it for letters and cards to create some nice calligraphy when writing to family, friends, neighbours or business communications. It gives me an opportunity to be a bit creative and is good for disciplining my handwriting , as I was taught in school years ago.I think you just can't beat it, if writing well is one of your interests.

This is a wonderful use of my money to save more money rather than buying individual cartridges. After a year and a bit i worked my way through one of these bottles of ink using my parker fountain pen and needed a new bottle. I believe i returned to the same reasonably priced supplier and 5 days later got another bottle which several months on i am less than half way through.The ink that parker makes is not perfectly black depending on what paper and what pen and other factors. But i will say that for a student who makes lots of notes and is a massive fan of proper pens this is a good budget way of writing without using those horrible BIC pens that are everywhere or furthermore those pens that are from hotels and conferences which never work.

Top of the range ink and makes me feel very posh when using it. The ink is very splodgy so be careful it can take some time getting used to it but I love it!! It comes packaged very nicely as you would expect and the bottle just looks great on a desk and adds an effect to it. I use it to write letters to important people or just family and friends acrosss the world when I'm feeling like it haha, nonetheless the product does what you want!!
