This bag is the perfect size for shaving stuff. I am using it for makeup etc. It's thick pebbled leather and looks exactly the way it does in the pictures. It is MUCH NICER than I had anticipated. The stitching is nice and tight. It's extremely well made. It looks so nice, I leave it out on my leather sofa most of the time.. no need to hide such a luxurious bag. It is also lined with black canvas inside. I bought the small toiletry bag by this maker as well and they match each other perfectly. This is a real bargain!

This genuine leather dopp kit is perfect for my use. It replaces a somewhat larger kit I had, which means I am forced to cull some of my stuff I used to fit in the kit. This is not actually bothersome for me, as I've been moving towards a, "Less is more", minimalist approach to many other aspects of my life. Just bring the essentials, razor, shave cream, deodorant, floss, toothbrush, cologne. Also has room left over for a couple of meds, aspirin, etc. The side zippered pocket it meant for flat items, not much room for more. Some snore strips, band-aids, or alcohol prep pads fit here, well. This is a very well constructed kit, and should provide years of use.

I guess you get what you paid for. I have been using my fathers old dop bag, he died 11 years ago, and the zipper of the front pocket finally broke, so I bought this, it is TOO small for an adult male to put his stuff in, it is ugly and cheap looking and stiff, I gave it to my 12 year old son. I guess I will have to see one in my hand before buying it.

The leather is great, although stiff (but if you're gonna beat this thing up it'll soften with time) and the smaller size is much more manageable than full size dopp kits. The only change I'd make would have been a removable liner, but at this price point that's a lot to ask for. This travel bad ended up being a great compromise of price and size for me.

Very sturdy, nice size . Color is not the best looking , thought it was a nicer brown. My biggest issue was that toothpaste got on it and it faded the color overnight. Now I have a smeared permanent stain on it. Again , very sturdy and nice design but the color issue and not being able to handle something very common like toothpaste on it, killed it for me. I mean you would expect toothpaste to get on the bag at some point, it should be able to wipe off without damaging it .

The leather on this bag is very good quality and looks and feels luxurious. I was worried it would be too small for my needs but it's just the perfect size. I use it to store my philips norelco bead trimmer 7300 and philips norelco bodygroom 7100 with the bodygroom stand and cable. The shavers just fit inside the bag by length and when placed on their side next to each other. The remaining space can be filled up by two taylor of old bond street shaving bowls, a DE razor and shaving brush. The side pocket can be used to store razorblades. I've put this bag to the test while travelling and it's been pressed on inside my travelling bag but it looks no worse for wear. I do worry the zipper on the side pocket will breakoff someday because it doesn't rest flat but it's still as good as new after 9 months.

It was so small that I returned it. Looks like it was made well, but the size was laughable. I don't think that there were any dimensions given - I did the "assume" thing, thinking that all men's toiletry bags were a certain standard size and got something that wouldn't work for my husband's needs.

If you're looking for a smaller sturdy bag for your travel bag, this is the one you should strongly consider. I've had larger bags, but they use to take up too much space in my medium-size carry on airplane bag -- remember when you could take a full size toothpaste tube on board? Well, it makes sense to now down size your travel/toiletry bag as well. The material is top notch -- thick leather, excellent stitching, perfect alignment of the seams, quality lining, and smooth working sturdy zippers. I'm am really pleased with the purchase. A beauty. Not the biggest or most practical but very nice leather.

Low grade leather and does not look like the ones shown as per the photos shared in the image of the product.The zippers and the inner lining are the lowest quality.Both Amazon and seller not responding to return requests.Really disappointed as a long term Amazon loyal customer.
