Transformers: Dark Cybertron Volume 1 Paperback – April 29, 2014

There is a lot of cool stuff going on in this story. You finally start understanding what Shockwave has been up to all this time. Plus you start to really see Autobots and Decepticons working together. It has lots of good humor too. (The "Rodpod" made me chuckle.) Good art. Highly recommended!

It reads a little differently than either of the current Transformers serial comics (More Than Meets the Eye and Transformers-ongoing-previously-known-as-Robots-in-Disguise), but that's just because there were multiple authors writing it at once so the styles conflict a little. The art, while fantastic as always, also feels a little jarring because so many different artists contributed to each issue. Overall, it's still a fantastic comic and I definitely recommend it!

Not a huge fan of the somewhat clunky and bloated version of the generation one story idw has been publishing but it is nice when the staff finally comes together to tell a story instead of endless exposition that ultimately goes nowhere.

I already read this twice and it is awesome. This book contains the first six comics of this series and a price tag of 1.99, it's a deal.

I liked how this combines Transformers from all the generations. I was a little lost at first, but quickly got my feet under me. Starscream as leader of Cyberton? Get outta here!

Ok, so for the longest time now, IDW has been leading to this crossover event and the first half doesn't disappoint. So many threads are coming together to form a beautiful Transformers tapestry.

Item was packaged well and showed up @ my house exactly as described and pictured.

Took a while to get used to the designs of the characters but it is a good story. I'm a fan of g1 transformers and this doesn't quite hit the mark for me, I struggled to accept galvatron as not an immensely powerful leader as he was in my day but in this he is much more of a lackey I thought. Shockwave is as ever awesome though.

Roberts, Barber, and the rest of the IDW Transformers brethren come together to produce a TF version of the Avengers. A phenomenal start to the end of Phase 1 for MTMTE and RID.
