Hey, why is it you don't show the Prop 65 warning? Amazon rarely shows it! What a waste of my time. Not for humans... but ok for your pets?

I've written a very small number of reviews over these many Amazon years. I just never take the time. However, I am in such a celebratory mood over this mat, I just have to share the joy!In our new home, the litter box is in the laundry room which is a narrow passageway into the guest bathroom. Oh the horror it was to me to think of guests having to walk through kitty litter on the floor! In comes the mat with great hope, and it totally worked with great satisfaction! I actually don't mind walking on it with bare feet! The great thing is the litter just naturally falls into the crevices leaving an acceptable surface to walk on. The squishy nature feels good and yes you can kind of feel the litter trapped in the little crevices, but hardly so. It's easy to sweep off and give shake from time to time; also easy to surface spray and wipe clean. I haven't had to clean up a urine mess yet, which will occur at some point, but surprisingly not yet. Maybe the kitties are happy with it too and choose to keep it clean. Ha ha, yeah right. The remaining test is to see how easy it is to clean when a major mess comes along and have highest hopes for ease and durability in that process. I've tried many different mats, including washable rugs, and this one is officially my fave so far.UPDATE: Reporting on a urine mess cleanup. It happened while away on a trip so had time to seep in quite a bit and dry. Spray surface cleaning did not work, leaving a yellow stain, especially on the edges where you can see the foam. I took the mat outside and let urine cleaner sit on it overnight. I sprayed it with a hose the next morning and it was as good as new! We’ll see what happens when the next mess doesn’t have time to dry up like that. Despite a bit of a hassle, it doesn’t detract from what I love about this mat! It’s a keeper. :-)

Update, 5.15.202- while my initial review indicated that it does reduce the amount of litter in the house (that’s still true) there is an issue. If your cat has an accident on the mat, all bets are off. After the accident, I tried to clean it, but it was hard to get it out or the tiny perforated lines & what I did remove, retained the smell. The cats then decided that they needed to scratch it up & this material comes apart very easily. So, now it no longer looks nice & is getting torn up. It was good while it lasted.This things really DOES reduce the amount of kitty litter tracked around the house!

I’m disappointed because I actually really liked this mat, it looks cute and traps litter particles pretty well but it’s impossible to clean. Literally I don’t think it’s meant to ever be cleaned aside from sweeping/shaking it off. It started to look visibly dirty less than a month in. Like how a floor looks dirty after being walked on a lot despite it only being cats in a clean house. Grimey? Anyway I hand washed it with a small amount of laundry detergent and water, wrung it out and put it outside in the sun to dry for a full day. It was 102 degrees outside. It felt dry so I brought it in and put it back under the litter box. That’s when I noticed suds and water coming out of it. When I actually squeezed the foamy parts tons of water came out like I hadn’t let it dry at all. So I let it dry another full day in the sun and when I squeezed it water came out again just like the day before. 3 days later it’s still not dry. Weirdest material ever! I guess I’m going to throw it away at this point. Can’t imagine what you’re supposed to do if pee gets on it or something.

This mat has made a huge difference in how much litter appears around the cabinet that contains our cat box. The best part is you don’t even see the litter it collects unless you’re really looking for it. Several days after placing it I picked it up without thinking and a whole bunch of litter fell out of it. Up until then I was actually thinking I didn’t need it; I thought my kittens weren’t that messy lol.I was able to cut this mat to have it fit in my cat box cabinet. What’s great is I was able to use the excess pieces at the entrance of the cabinet so it catches anything left on their paws as they leave the cabinet.I’m so happy I found this mat!

Was pleasantly surprised to find liquids don't pass thru as within an hour of putting first one down, my Diva threw-up on it. A friend recommended to me. I've since bought several more so I can switch out, esp with those I'm using with a large group of new kittens (11!) and their moms in a bedroom - they tend to be messy as moms are semi-feral.

This mat is great, if my cat would steps or jumps on the mat right after using the litter box! I still have to clean and pickup litters on the floor but then the mess has been decreased amazingly, I could only find just few litters after placing this mat.Great price, works really well and the size is almost perfect for extra large 23”x19” litter box. I spent long enough time to find the perfect litter mats and I guess I found one, I will definitely purchase another one in the near future.Just one thing to add, my cat chewed and spitted out the foams of the mat couple of times just hope that he didn’t swallow the foams.

this mat is amazing. it's big and brightly colored and looks pretty good. I have to keep my boxes in my bathroom, right by my shower, and was tired of having litter get stuck to my wet feet every time I got out of the shower. This completely eliminates that. It keeps the litter trapped tight and once a month i just lift up the mat, vacuum the litter under it, and viola--i finally have a litter free bathroom floor.totally recommend.

I’ve had cats for 35 years and counting and this is the best litter mat I’ve ever owned! I’ve had it for three weeks now and I have zero litter tracked onto my floors. Great mat!

It’s long enough to tuck under our Litter Robot and still have enough length that cats can’t completely clear it when they leap out.

I have no complaints about this product. It catches a lot of litter, and I love the design
