Hi, i am looking just to warm up cans of soup in emergencies (cream of mushroom, chicken noodle). can it fit contents of soup and how long til done?

It can be done, but not the best use. Inside would be a filthy mess. Better to cook things like chicken, veggies, bread, seafood, meat. All in smaller quantities to fit in tray. Use mine to make snacks for the kid when we are outdoors. Hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, leftovers. I’d get a larger one for emergencies, especially for more than I, or a folding Bushcraft stove like an Emberlit, Firebox or Bushcraft Essentials.

How wide is the tube.is it the same as the gosun pro? I know it is shorter in length, just want to know if it is the same as in width.

Same width as the gosun pro. Just smaller in length. But it still holds a good bit of food.
