Great product, great flavor, etc. I'm on my second bottle right now. Great for making old-fashioned cocktails.

I have tried every premium cocktail cherrry you can imagine - Tosca, Luxardo, Sausalito, Peninsula, Fabbri, Egbert (my second choice), Woodford(the worst) etc and i find the Sausalito to be the best tasting in my Old Fashion. BUT, the shelf life is short, 2 months maybe, then they do turn thick and waxy.But when fresh, they are superior to all other brands. So use them quickly!!

These cherries are very tasty and at the same time very intense; a little goes a long way. I used them in some homemade vanilla ice cream and it was loved by all.

As a lover of a well mixed Manhattan, I consider this Amarena cherry to be the very best. All are imported from Italy, but the Sausalito Amarena has a deeper, more "black cherry" flavor than the Fabbri and Toschi brands, which have more of the typical maraschino flavor. The darkness of the syrup really adds to the color, and flavor, of the cocktail. (I haven't even tried making desert with them because they never get past my bar!) I'm genuinely ruined for any other Amarenas and will never buy another bottle of maraschino cherries. The only problem is actually being able to get them! This Amazon vendor only seems to have 1-3 bottles available at a time, or maybe someone buys out the inventory as soon as they have it. When I can't get them on Amazon I have to buy a case of 6 bottles direct from Sausalito Foods and split them with my other "mixologist" buddies, who also LOVE them. Please make more available on Amazon!

Bought these as a cheaper alternative to Luxardo, not disappointed at all...i think Luxardo are still a little better but these are certainly delicious. These will be my go to for my cocktails.

Great for cocktails but a bit too syrupy
