I bought this because when we go camping we use a roofbag on our Kia Sportage and couldn't load/unload it without a ladder. This takes much less room up in the car. Probably one of the best things I have purchased for a while. Very sturdy, easy to use, small and compact. Fantastic.

Extremely solid and well built tool that fits handily behind a panel in my boot or in the glove box. Works well on both front and rear door latches (front is vertical, rear is sloped) thanks to its adjustable design allowing me to easily access my roof box or roof-mounted bikes. Don’t be put off by the price compared to others; it’s really well made and worth the cost

We have a Toyota Alphard campervan and have recently fitted a roofbox and needed a way of climbing up into it without adding bulk to the items we carry on board due to lack of space. The problem we found was that it didn't provide a level step but pointed slightly downwards on our car, this may be different on other cars. My husband is very handy and adapted it so that it sits flat and also added some grip strips which in our opinion it needs to make it safer to avoid your foot slipping off it especially when wet.

Bought to get in to back of roof boxI am a big lad and this takes my weight but I am not to sure my door will ha ha .but I use this to lift my up just enough to get to the back

Works very well for getting access to your SUV roof or roof box. Holds me very securely, front or back door frame, without any damage to the car. It does put you higher up than I expected, at least on my SUV, so be careful stepping up and down. The top of my SUV roof is at about my waist when I'm standing on this thing. The rotating rubber foot thing allows it to be level regardless of the shape of the door frame. Easily stores in the door pocket for easy access. Definitely a winner.
