Disappointed --- UPDATED 2022
ORIGINAL: I'm really disappointed in this charger.... At first it worked beautifully -- my tablet never overheated when it was charging (unlike when it was plugged into its original charger) and it even charged faster than on the original. It's light weight and much easier to pack, too. I loved it! But I've only had it a month or so and it's no longer working. The green indicator light comes on when it's plugged in but none of the lights on the cable itself come on and it no longer charges my tablet at all. I'm hoping it's just a cord issue so I'm going to order just a cable and see if it works again. If it doesn't, well, it'll be a waste of $40. I'll edit my review once I have a new cable.Edit 11/3: even with a new cable the charger box won't work. It's not my device though because the regular charger is working fine. Also, don't bother with "product support" -- it's a bot that basically tells you if you're still in the return window or not. Utterly useless for troubleshooting.UPDATE, 12/2022: after posting my initial reviews I fiddled around with the charger and combed the internet for help; not longer after getting the second cable, the original charger stopped working too. Turns out the problem wasn't with the charger or the cables after all, but my device itself. Apparently it's a known issue with the surface pro 7s that the charging ports get finicky. If I turn the charging cable upside down to insert it into my device (so the cable is going up the side rather than down), the charger works beautifully again. So if you're having similar issues with your device not charging with this product, try flipping the direction of the charger when you insert it into your device! I've been using it daily since I figured it out and haven't had any issues with it since as long as I plug it in the 'right' way.

Compact with good features
I have bought at least 3 spare chargers for my Surface Pro - I like to have them in the right places for convenience. In my shoulder bag, desk, next to couch, dining table, favorite reading chair, etc.I am tired of the long cords and bulk for traveling in my compact soft-sided shoulder bag. This charger feels well made with a nice quality finish and is great for size and weight compared to all other chargers. Excellent thoughtful features including multiple ports, folding prongs, multiple indicator lights for charging status. Particularly like the charging light on the Surface Pro magnetic connector that is front facing (vs on the side) so you can easily see that it is actually charging while you are working on the Surface.Only had it one week, but 5+ stars assuming longevity.

Nice charger
I got this to charge my Surface Pro 7 as a back-up and one I can travel easier with back and forth to work (or leave at the office). It works well. Doesn't charge as fast as the original charger (but that doesn't matter much to me). It has a light which is white when charging and blue when done...though sometimes 'done' doesn't mean 100% yet. It is a bit fiddly...not sure how long it will last. I tried to charge something in the USB port when the computer was plugged in and it couldn't handle it. So it seems it really is best to charge one thing at a time (ok for me...but may not be nice for others). Very portable and doesn't get overly heated up while charging.

"low power" per windows, verified by looking at charging current.
This device technically works, but windows 11 throws an error saying that it is a low power device. If you look at the actual charging current using the device it does charge, but at a lower rate than a factory Microsoft charger. Is it Microsoft being shady? Or the cable maker not doing the job? Or both? Hard to tell. The cable is also significantly stiffer, and tends to pop out even more. That said, it is a cheaper source for the (semi-functional) cable, and a semi-functional 65W charger, in contrast to Microsoft's stuff that works at a not so hard job but is hilariously over priced. It is also significantly smaller, and has no wall voltage cord, and so is smaller and lighter. It will keep your device going during normal usage, but don't expect super fast charging.

Better alternative to the original charger
It is very compact and it just does the work for Microsoft Surface. It also have an additional USB-C and USB-A slots for additional devices. I am using this one instead of the original Surface charger since I bought it.

powerful and lightweight
I use it as the travel charger for my Surface5. It charges the laptop quickly and is less cumbersome than the OEM travel charger. The additional port means I can charge my phone at the same time. Buy yourself a USB cable that can handle high current.

Lasted 7 months
It worked great until it didn't. Cable has been gingerly cared for and shows no sign of wear or damage, but after about 6 months, the charging cable stopped working consistently. It will intermittently work if I fiddled with the cable. Now 9t doesn't charge at all. Wondering if there's a manufacturer's warranty. Will update if I find out more.
