I've been taking glucosamine and condroitin for years to relieve joint pain. For me, it's simple. If I take it I have no joint pain. If I don't take it for a few days the pain comes back. This product contains only glucosamine and condroitin. Other glucosamine products contains other things in addition. I don't know if the products are better without the additives - I'm not sure what they do and I don't know if there is any proof that the additives help. But that's the problem with vitamins. There's no regulation and it's hard to know about the best formulation. This product contains 750mg of glucosamine 2KCL and 600mg of condroitin sulfate sodium per two tablet serving. The bottle directions suggest that you take 2 tablets twice a day so that the 120 capsules in the bottle are a 30 day supply. This product is "gluten, dairy, peanut, tree nut, fish, shellfish, soy, sesame, egg, artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners and unnecessary excipients" free and is non-GMO. It is manufactured in Middletown, CT>

I am CAUTIOUS about recommending anything that goes into or onto the body of any being or life. I was going to try these out, however, I am not sure about the licorice root, nor the other non-itemized ingredients in the powder. I didn't see any kind of International testing seals on the label either.
