Dot Grid Book: Dot Grid Notebook, 8 X 10, 170 pages

This dot grid journal is perfect for bullet journaling. The paper is thick enough that my Staedtler pens do not bleed through the paper when writing. The size is perfect since I'm not using this as a travel journal. I'm probably going to have this spiral bound at my local office supply store as well. Great purchase and an excellent price!!

I purchased this to start a bullet journal, and I just wanted a notebook with a dot grid that didn't break the bank but gave me a decent amount of pages (and still have paper of relatively good quality). This thing delivered. I will note, however, that there are some things about this notebook that a little wonky. Firstly, the cover's a thin paperback (I had expected something a little thicker). I'm not sure how long it's going to hold up. It IS glossy though -- but still not very durable. Color's true to the picture. Secondly, the dot grid's not properly aligned. It's not super noticeable unless you're looking at the lines of dots on the edges of some of the pages, and I've made probably 15+ tables and it doesn't bother me (and these kind of things usually do!). Thirdly, it says that you can use fountain pens on this but I sincerely doubt it. Haven't tested it yet, but I used some fineliners on it and it bled. Not horribly. But even some of my markers and pens that don't tend to bleed in other journals, bleed through this paper a little. I got creative with washi tape and sticky notes so I could use the back and front of all my pages.The size is great though! And the dot grid's awesome (the dots are a grey btw). And as much as the paper frustrates me, it's not exactly as though it's cheap. It's pretty hefty. It's just not the super expensive kind of paper. So for the price, you really can't complain at all. Some of the dot grid journals I've been recommended for bullet journalling can run $20+ and for me that's just not feasible. This works like a charm, and I can work with its shortcomings.

I have been using this for a bullet journal and I love it. However, it does allow for bleeding of ink and ghosting to appear. But I guess that'll happen unless you are using white card stock for pages. Not all of the pages have the same number of dots since half of the pages are cut differently than the other half. Since I am OCD on symmetry, this drives me CRAZY having to count those little dots ALL THE TIME. But overall, it's a great starter book for a bullet journal. It is nice and big and allows you to spread out and make mistakes without it feeling like total failure.

I bought this as my first step in doing a bullet journal for the year. It's cheap and it gets the job done - others have complained that the dots aren't aligned and that is true for mine but only for half the pages (first half of the pages are the same, then a shift in the middle of the book), and I can't imagine it becoming an issue. This journal holds up to my Lamy Safari with no bleeding, but Sharpie markers will bleed! I made that mistake on my freakin' cover page! The only other aspect about it for any daily users is the cover - I reinforced the cover with duct tape on both sides of the crease because I could foresee it easily ripping off. Overall it's a nicely priced, simple, and effective dot grid journal for use as a bullet journal. The size is also perfect.

Just got this to start bullet journaling and I'm not a fan. Going to physically go to Office Depot tomorrow and see if I can find something else. First, the pages don't lay completely flat- so even with a ruler I wasn't able to get very straight lines on the left side pages when laying open. I also messed up a layout and ripped the page out, but it won't come all the way out and that drives me (type A++) totally nuts. Finally, I was using gel pens and there is a bit of ghosting on the vack pages that will also drive me crazy. It was the perfect size, but just not going to work for me for what I want to do with my bullet journal. I'm sure this is great for other projects or things, or if you aren't a super type A like I am and those little things won't bother you. It was only $8 though- so at least now I have practice pages!

This dot grid journal is perfect for my class notes and drawings. The paper is thick enough for pens or pencils. I love the size. 8 x 10. Can't believe how crisp the pages are. Definitely met my expectations. For the price it's great. Price wise seems to be the best deal on the market.

Using this as a catch all where I doodle and plan.the last ten pages are blank though.

I love this product, I use it for all of my school notes. I wish that the paper was a little higher quality/thicker, there is definitly some bleeding through the page when I use markers or gel pens. The alignment of the bullets is just a touch off center too. It's wasn't super noticeable, but it still irked me a bit,

I did not evaluate the real quality of the paper which is not made at all for inking. I thought that it would be like the Rhodia paper, more appropriate for wrinting with pen and ink but it is not. For those who want paper for pencilling it's fine. So the stars reprensents more my mistake than the appropriate value of the paper. Just a reminder that this is not for ink! Delivery is fast, within delays!

Really bad paper. For a notebook with dot grid. I expect to be good for markers and fountain pen freindly, since it will be use for sketching and doodling. Paper is horrible.

Awesome book, just a little sad that my steaedtler pens ghost through a bit. But otherwise I'd absolutely buy it again!

Not what I expected. The paper is too white and it's more like a school note book. Where as I was looking for something to bullet journal.

Dots were darker than what I expected. Other than that, good size and lots of pages to work with!
