Good quality sound, easy installation
Really good speaker and microphone. Almost 5 stars... just one star short because its still not a full headphone replacement. During skype or team calls, people still prefer me to use the headphone as voice is clearer. Not that the sound quality is bad, no no...its really good, but you can hear you sit in a room, on hands free.

Jabra Speak 510 vs Anker PowerConf
Hello everyone,I was in the market to find the best device for my home office as i was quite tired of using the headset during MS teams calls. I have had a progression in the last 1 year or so going from a wired headset -> wireless headset -> bluetooth speaker and microphone and i pretty convinced that i will be sticking with my existing option. Really makes your life easy if you have your own space at home and privacy is not a concern. Before this purchase, i did research a lot about the available devices in the market and Anker PowerConf and Jabra Speak 510 were the most popular and i ended up trying out both and have decided to keep the Jabra Speak 510 based on my observations below. Both these devices were connected to my laptop via USB that made comparison consistent.Anker PowerConf (APC) vs Jabra Speak 510 (JS):1. Speaker output and microphone:APC: Speaker output was great but microphone not so much and the voice varies as you move about in the room. It seem to adjust the volume levels that seem to be noticeable to the other user. I am not sure if the 6 omnidirectional mics are really helpful here.JS: Speaker output was great and microphone quality was noticeably superior and does not have any variations in noise levels.WINNER: Jabra Speak 5102. Noise cancellation:APC: Noise cancellation is just OK as the users on the other end were able to hear pretty much everything in the background so it doesn't really work as advertised.JS: Noise cancellation is noticeable better and it does suppress the background noise slightly better.WINNER: Jabra Speak 5103. Integration with MS Teams:APC: There is no existing integration with MS Teams and call/disconnect button does not work to pick up and drop off a call. So please keep this in mind if you looking to use it with MS Teams. It was a deal breaker function for me. The mute button however works.JS: Fully integrated with MS Teams and everything works as it should including the call and mute buttons.WINNER: Jabra Speak 5104. Connections:APC: It connects to laptop via USB Type C which is great and bluetooth connection via version 5+ is also great. Another feature if you like to use is that Anker also acts as a battery back as well for devices.JS: It connects to laptop via the traditional USB Type A and bluetooth connection via version 5 is also great.WINNER: Anker PowerConf5. Packaging:APC: The packaging is superb and really well presented. The carry bag is much better than that of Jabra's speak and does help in protecting the device in case of a fall as it is not a soft cloth bag.JS: The packaging is so so and the carry back is soft bag that does not provide adequate protection.WINNER: Anker PowerConfSo in terms of technical performance, Jabra Speak 510 is much superior device and it's integration with MS Teams makes it a clear winner between the 2 devices. It's a keeper! :)

Excellent quality
Excellent coverage with the mic, which makes group use of Skype a far better experience.

An incredible addition to my home office
I have worked from home for the past 18 years and have had various setups with speakers and headsets...all the things a satellite employee needs in order to stay in touch with their Team. Now that the kids are home and there's a little background noise, I find that my webcam's mic and my laptop's speakers are not sufficient enough to hold a productive meeting. My husband let me borrow his Speak 410 and it was lifechanging! I used my Christmas giftcard to purchase one of my own (but I got a 510).It comes packaged neatly, has a convenient carrying case that holds the dongle for wireless use, and is ready to go at plug and play. I did have to choose it in Teams as my source, but that is a quick (and expected) setting swap.I have used this speaker with Microsoft Teams and Skype so far. I was also thrilled it has Bluetooth capability with the 510 model, so I can use it for personal listening as well. The speaker has a groove at the bottom (like other models) so you can wind the excess cord and keep it neat and out of the way. Love that. I haven't used it wirelessly yet, so I can't speak to the battery life.Sound quality is fantastic. I've received feedback that it's less "tinny" than my desk phone and that it sounds like we're chatting in the same room in person. Background noise is filtered out for the listener, which is wonderful news (probably more so for them!). The sound that comes out is crystal clear.I don't know why it took me so long to get one.

Excellent quality, wireless and USB wired operation; trivial to use. Love it and have many!
I use these Jabras around the world, both in my offices as well as on the road, and this latest incarnation of the Jabra 500-series is a nice evolution over the last unit (which I continue to carry and use almost daily). The difference is that while this new unit has a USB cable for connecting to a computer, it can also work completely wirelessly driven by a dongle in a USB port. This removes the limitation of cable length, makes desktop and table tops neater, and allows the unit itself to be moved around as needed with no constraints.Once charged, I'm averaging about 12 hours per full charge before I need to plug it in for overnight recharging, and the option to use the supplied USB cable means I never worry about having the Jabra available. I use it with a variety of software, including Skype and Slack, with no quality issues at all. Audio (spoken and heard) is excellent.I am so impressed with these Jabras that I am buying them for my suppliers in SE Asia, where conference call quality has consistently been an issue due to lousy telephony devices. The Jabras are well received and enhance the conference quality considerably. I now have five of these units in my offices, home, and my laptop bag, and can't imagine not using one for a call. Excellent purchase for anyone on a lot of VOIP conference calls.
