Hydia Brown Leather Holder Storage Pouch for Pocket Watch

I really like this storage pouch. I purchased it to use as a change holder (operating on the maxim that a man should always have a dollar in change on him when he leaves the house), and this fits the bill nicely. 4 stars instead of 5 because the snap was so weak that I wound up using Gorilla Glue on it (no complaint there, my belt needs to be threaded through my case knife sheath as well); prior to that, the pouch would fall off my belt every time I bumped something with my hip, or climbed in or out of my Jeep. This pouch needs either a sturdier snap or to be permanently fastened during manufacture.

This is nice looking but the belt loop is not stitched, it is held to the watch compartment with a snap fastener. When I pull the watch out of the case to look at the time, the fastener pops open and it comes off my belt. The watch is connected to a belt loop with a watch chain so I don't drop the watch but refastening the case each time is inconvenient.

Bought two of these, one black and one brown. A bit small for my watches, which makes for a snug fit. OK for keeping them at bay, but a bit difficult to retrieve when I want to see the time. And, they're not leather, but I knew that when I ordered them. All in all, a good product for what they do, and they look good.

I wish I had noticed the cheap rivet hold plainly visible in the picture. It shows up IRL much more shiny.Other than that it looks nice and seems to be decent enough quality for the price.That hole though...just makes it look CHEAP from 10' away... sigh

First I didn't know it was going to be shipped from China, which took about a month and a half! Second, the snap which secures the loop to put on a belt didn't stay snapped, which meant it could have fallen off and damaged the antique pocket watch. Then a few days later the stitching holding the loop camp apart. It was very poorly made. It was for my husband and he took off the snap, took off the loop, and hand stitched it back on to be sure it was secure. Now it works.

The product works perfectly. If you don't expect soft, supple, thick leather (which I didn't), it's great.

The pouch is exactly what I was looking for - it perfectly fits an electronic banking token I use! It means I can have the token in my pocket or bag without worrying that I might be accidentally pressing buttons...
