BRINGSMART 12V 16rpm DC Worm Gear Motor 70kg.cm High Torque Turbine Electric Gearbox Motor Self-locking Reversed Mini Engine Geared Motor for DIY Robot Door Lock Curtain Machine (12V 16rpm)

Bought this BringSmart 12 volt 16 RPM worm gear motor as well as a Greartisan 12v 25 RPM motor. I wanted to put a picture of them side by side so you could get an idea of what you're paying for. The little one was around $15 and the bigger one was around $30. That's of April 2021. I am planning to build an outdoor motorized 12-ft projection screen. I believe the Bringsmart will have enough torque for the project. I feel it is well worth the extra $15. It's easily twice the size and has wired leads as well as mounting holes on both the front and back. However if you're doing something smaller you might like the space that the Greartisan saves. The little one is roughly 3 in and the bigger one is roughly 4 and 1/2 in long. I haven't used it yet but I'm forced to give it a review. So I'll give it five stars and come back and adjust it if I have any problems.

Great little motors, as long as you don’t need them to work for more than an hour or two. I went through two, as the mounting was already built after the first. Minor load, continuous run, two hours.

These little motors generate a lot of force from a small package. I was surprised at the small size when receiving the motor but was astonished at the force delivered. The motor and gearbox is very smooth and quiet. With a proper motor controller the motor will run at any speed from zero to full speed with no glitches. Recommended

Most vendors provide a mechanical diagram (depicting hole dimensions and spacing). It's not a big thing, but I trust a diagram more than my ruler. As for the motor, it seems to be of good quality and sufficient torque for my application.
