Our cat avoided this like a pet carrier.
Several years ago, we had a cat develop some urinary problems: bladder stones which restricted her ability to urinate and caused some bleeding and she was trying to urinate all day long to help relieve the irritation. The Vet claimed it was from the poor ingredients in some dry cat food that causes the stones because the cat can’t process enough liquid to handle the food. He wanted to put her on a special diet with a Science Diet dry special blend for Urinary Tract and then onto one of their regular formula kibble for life. That seemed a little useless because we were feeding the cats some decent kibble to begin with like Purina One. We did a search and found that it was true that a lot of filler in most dry cat food was grain and that is hard for cats to process unless they happen to drink a lot of water. The diet we found involved a home made cat food of grinding up some rabbit and chicken and adding some vitamins. Tried it and it worked but it was a mess to make, rabbit is not cheap or easy to find and it takes up a lot of freezer space. What we were doing was based on the information provided by Lisa A. Pierson, DVM on Making Cat Food (catinfo.org) and she is of the opinion that cats need the bones which makes the grinding process more difficult. We still feed them some kibble because feeding 7 cats, plus some strays, gets pretty expensive. It’s a shame packaging is getting smaller and prices do nothing but remain the same or go up. Adding a probiotic was recommended and we chose the Purina Pro Plan Fort Flora Cat Probiotic Supplement. I can only assume it added what was recommended to the food and the cats all ate it and I have no reason to believe that it didn’t provide what the cats needed in addition to the ground up meat and bones.Fast forward a few years and the same cat that started us grinding up fresh rabbit was having bowel and kidney issues again we we wanted to give her a probiotic to see if it would help. The Fort Flora had become much more expensive so we tried this one but she would have nothing to do with it no matter how many different ways we tried to slip it to her. If we put some on her leg it eventually disappeared but I can’t say it was because she licked it off. I can’t attest to how effective this would have been for her she wouldn’t take it or eat the food we put it on so the rating is subjective and all I can really rate it on was on its taste appeal which seemed to a failure. Cats, and especially the one we were trying to treat was very finicky so the rating means little more than I didn’t like it because she wouldn’t eat it… and nothing more but it was chose based on reviews and price. The pet carrier always means she’s headed to the Vet.

Kitty is happy and mama is happy!
This product was recommended to me by one of my good friends. She said her vet Was very happy to hear she gave probiotics to her kitty. This product is amazing! My kitty will be 12 years old and I've noticed she's acting more kittenish and her fur is so soft and bunny like. I want to keep my kitty healthy and happy and I totally recommend this product and I will be buying it again. The kitty is very happy! If kitty is happy then mama is happy!

My cat thrived on it!
I got this because my cat was throwing up regularly every week. I thought this might settle his stomach. I've had this product about 2 weeks now and can say that he hasn't thrown up once in that time. I think that's fabulous. I recommend these Probiotics heartily. It's very nice because it comes with it's own little dosing scoop!

Truly odorless and tasteless-- therefore my cat actually eats it.
I have a cat with a lot of stomach problems. This powder is not going to cure him and I can't give you one of those kind of reviews that he took it and he's all better. But I can tell you that it IS tasteless and odorless and that was the key to getting my cat to eat any of it. It doesn't take but the smallest little detail to turn him away from his food and so I needed a product that would not get his attention. This works great for getting the probiotics into him in the first place. I looked at so many brands that I had to reject because they have fruit flavors or similar. Fruit?! For a cat?! What are they thinking? I like this stuff because it feels like this was made for a cat and it's not some candy-flavored stuff for kids that was re-branded for pets or something.I took the jar to the vet today for my cat's checkup. We compared it to the prescription version they have there and while it's not exactly the same, it is similar enough that I can keep using this.Update: August 4, 2016This has been working for my cat. He's got inflammatory bowel and takes a couple of medicines for it and gets fluids. I give him this powder in a bowl of food that's shared by other cats so he doesn't even get a full dose, but it still helps a LOT. Here are some kind of gross details:When I a NOT giving him this powder, he has really severe, messy diarrhea that smells like some kind of death. You can just see how bad he feels in the cat box. When I am using the powder, he gets up to semi-soft poo, like soft-serve ice cream, and he's not distressed in the cat box. It seems like the cramps that gave him disastrous diarrhea have eased. It still smells like death, though. :/I'm ordering more today.

Works like a charm, kitty is happy again!
My 20-year-old cat's bowel issues improved considerably after just a few days of using this and are now fully resolved. This is a very fussy cat but doesn't mind it in his food at all. Also great customer service - replied quickly to my email with a detailed and very helpful response. Highly recommend both seller and product.

Helped with older cat digestion
This made a difference for my cats digestive comfort toward the end of his life. He had trouble processing his food and tended to throw it up shortly after eating it. This was helpful in settling his stomach.

Didn't work for my cat but she had been sick a long time.
I don't doubt it works for others. Unfortunately, it did not work for my cat. Still worth a try for others who perhapd have not had long term chronic problems. It was certainly worth a try.
