For those of us that unfortunately may sleep with our hands directly on our face this may cause hyperpigmentation. What I have discovered is that after changing your bed position making certain that your face is not lying directly on your hands this soap has the ability to lighten your face in those difficult areas. After switching my bedsheets from polyester to 100% cotton along with using African black soap the results were staggering. When I first started using the soap it did burn. However, over the course of time, my skin got used to it and I was able to use the product directly on my scan in all areas. Now, I shower with it every day. It doesn't smell bad at all. The only time that I might use a different product for men that is scented is when I'm going to wear a necktie. Other than that African soap is used on a daily basis morning and at night before bedtime. This product is phenomenal. Don't be afraid to use it on a daily basis. I have experienced no difficulties. As you become used to the soap litigant on your face for one or two minutes causes no difficulties whatsoever. There was a time in which I did use facial scrubs to clear my face. I heard a lot of great things about this product and if you are a product jumper like me then you're always looking for that one solution that will help your skin with one swing of a wand. I did not have acne as a teenager but when I started college it really got bad and I have spent a lot of time trying new products and medication; however one thing I have learned is consistency which is hard for an impatient person like myself. You may not see results right away but if you are persistent and stick to only a few products you're good. I love this African black soap. I have sensitive skin so at first it stung a lot and made my cheeks red and dry but I was persistent. If it stings I suggest a little fan or ice to cool off. I have seen a major improvement in the short time that I've been using this soap and can't wait to see the long term results. Do not put the soap directly on your face or body, use a rag or lather it in your hands.( great for body too) If you think it's making you break out more it's just bringing up those hidden pimples, you know the ones that you can feel underneath your skin but can't really see. I decided to be aggressive and use this product everyday at first but once my acne goes down I'll switch to 2 to 3 times a week because it is very drying but it makes the skin soft and tight. I also recommend a good toner like thaylers witch hazel and moisturizer like Olay or whatever you like to use and before you go to bed I promise you coconut oil will save your life. Throw it on everything. Lol You may sleep shiny but when you wake up it really helps a lot with the drying and it anti fungal so it helps with pimples too. I highly recommend the African soap though, just figure out what type of routine works best for you and stick to it and don't product jump too much.

I bought this after reading about how Africa Black Soap is good for reducing scarring. I had really bad acne scars on my face but after using this consistently for a good while, they disappeared. I wish I had before and after pictures. I knocked off one star because it doesn't smell particularly good and crumbles easily.

Si ayuda mucho con el acné, al principio saca más brotes, pero sí limpia muy bien la piel. Sólo hay que leer bien las instrucciones.

بعد الاراء الايجابيه الذي قرأتها عن الصابون اشتريته بناء على التعليقات و بعد استخدام لمدة شهر لم أرى اي نتيجه في بشرتي.. يسبب وخز للبشرة... في اعتقادي لا يصلح للبشرة الحساسه.. يمكن لان بشرتي فاتحه وحساسه جدا...
