When I was a teenager, in the 70's the slogan was "every girl needs a Boye" and for us chick crafters, it's just as true today. Smooth aluminum needles that will get even smoother with use. I make cowls and scarves with these. Quality that will last a lifetime.

I bought knitting needles, and I got knitting needles. The exact ones I meant to buy. I haven't used them yet; I'm waiting on the yarn to come in, but I've used knitting needles before, and I can say with confidence, these are enough like other knitting needles I've used that I'm certain they will work just as well for knitting. Now if I had ordered US size 3 straight aluminum knitting needles and received a drawing of a stick figure and a bundle of broken glass, well, I wouldn't be too thrilled. But just like every other time I go out and buy a mundane object, I received that mundane object, for which I paid money. The price looked fine to me, and I don't think I'll regret this purchase. If you are out there looking to make an ordinary purchase of an ordinary item, be sure to let the world know what that experience was like. Knitting needles I was looking for small size 8 instead i get big size 8

I'm new to knitting as an adult. When I was a kid my grandmother taught me, but that was 30+ years ago. My daughter recently wanted to try knitting, so I bought a couple pairs of these knitting needles and we promptly taught ourselves the two basic stitches. These needles work really well. Sometimes they get a bit slippery and a stitch comes off too early and I have to gently put it back on, but I love how long the needles are - I'm about 15" into a really lovely dark grey scarf that I've been working on since mid-June. You can see my project in the attached picture - I've done another 2-3" in rows since that picture was taken. While my daughter desire to knit waned once she learned the stiches, mine has intensified. And I know it's because these needles are so great and easy to use. Sturdy too - my daughter accidently sat on hers a few times and they haven't bent or broken.

Great value for the needles

I saw a review where someone only got 1 needle. Guess I got the other one? LOL. Seems nice and sturdy. Getting a replacement sent. Just thought, what are the odds?

My first time knitting but I like them, sturdy nice price and easy to use and hold!
