The author claims she did not take an anecdotal approach. Not sure what she meant. The book is largely anecdotal. A lot of dreary details about the actor's childhood, their family history, what they did on such and such a day--these do not have a bearing on the actor's talent or the films she worked for.If you are looking for something like Satyajit Ray's "Deep Focus" (which I did), then you are in for some disappointment.

I like the quality of the product. However, a book should always come with a book marker. It is a small issue but only a avid reader can understand this feeling. It does not cost much ..you guys can provide it complimentary with the book like other online shopping sites do!Thanks
