Not Just For Toy Story Fans
Let me start off saying that I have read the first 4 series (including this one) buying them in singles, and then later buying them in a collection like this. This is not something I do that often but I find myself chomping at the bit to read the next volume so I get the singles as they come out, but then I like to get the collected edition for easier storage on the bookshelf and if anyone would like to borrow them down the road (I would say around 10-12 people have read my first volume copy and loved it). Even with this "double dipping" I still feel like I may be underpaying for my actual enjoyment of the series. Now with that out of the way, I do believe this is a must read for fans of Toy Story. People often forget that Toy Story had a darker tone to it, and this book even goes a little darker (not to Walking Dead dark, nothing that won't let you enjoy what you are reading). I only compare it to Toy Story here because it so often gets compared to it because it is about anthropomorphic toys, and it honestly deserves to be judged on it's own by this point, but it does seem to draw the same crowd of fans. That being said, I know several people who didn't enjoy Toy Story that have loved this book.Great art, great story and very interesting characters that take a few steps away from the stereotypes you would expect. Great read for adults, and I would guess kids 8 and older should enjoy this book a lot. There is violence in the Stuff of Legend books, and even blood, but it is not a gorefest and more of the impact comes from some creepiness of the evil and bad toys in the book. Book 4 is not a great jumping on point, I would honestly start with the first one, but know that the series is great in even the new book the quality of storytelling continues.

Fantastic!
This another outstanding book in a wonderfully written and beautifully drawn series. Mike Raicht really can tap into the dark side of childhood fantasy and adventure. A must read series for any graphic noel lover.

Great story bad book binding
Great read, although this paperback like the first volume fell apart while reading it. The binding glue was very weak. You might be better off getting the hardcover version of vol 1 & 2 together for better binding. Still I loved the story enough to put up with the weak glue.

Sill hooked on this series!
This book just keeps getting better and better! Picked up book 1 on a whim a couple of years ago and I am so glad I did. Fantastic story and artist Charles Paul Wilson III puts so much detail into each and every panel that his work makes most other comic artists look like they rushed to get their art finished and to the printer. If you haven't yet, start with book 1 and enjoy the ride!

Good story, bad publishing
This book has terrible binding. Expect the pages to fall out. Buy binding glue along with it, if u plan to keep any of these volumes.
