Live fuller life despite or even because of cancer
Coping with Cancer is a unique and extremely helpful resource. This is not a book that you read and put away. Rather, it is a manual that teaches invaluable skills. These skills will allow you to live a fuller life despite or even because of cancer. Set aside 30 minutes every day to work on those skills. You may also want to bring it with you to doctor and treatment appointments since there is always waiting involved. This book will teach you how to manage fear, anxiety, sadness, anger, and other strong emotions. It will also help you maintain and strengthen your personal and professional relationships. The first author, Elizabeth Stuntz knows this problem firsthand -- she is a cancer survivor. The second author, Dr. Marsha Linehan developed dialectical behavioral therapy, a scientifically proven and very popular type of therapy.Alexander Mauskop, MD
