EpicPet Leather LED Dog Collar with Flashing White Lights & Thick Padding, for Medium Sized Dogs

The actual collar is very well constructed and looks great! When used in the continuous light mode, this collar burned through batteries. With less than 10 minutes of use a day, it would go through batteries in about 2 weeks. The battery consumption improved greatly when used on slow flash.My main complaint however is the construction of the control box. It kept popping open. (Maybe because of all the handling to replace the batteries?) I attempted to super glue it and that worked for a while, but during a romp in the back yard, it popped open again and the circuit board and batteries ripped right out of it. I guess I'll find them on the next mowing.I am now looking for an LED collar that has the control box sandwiched within the collar and preferably one that is rechargeable.

My wife bought one of these for me and I was really excited for it but it did not work. Since then I have had three of these collars in the last two weeks and none of them have all the lights working. I contacted Amazon and they replaced it at no charge for the first one, the second replacement I contacted the company and they also replaced it free of charge, but it did not work either. I now have three of these collars and none of them have all the lights working. I love the idea of a lighted dog collar for letting my dog off leash in the winter months when the daylight is short. The lights that do work are bright, but only a portion of them work. After reading the other reviews, I really hope it is only a bad batch of collars and the manufacture will figure it out. I ended up purchasing another brand and hopefully that one will work. When that collar wears out, I may try this brand again because I want it to work so badly and the collar looks well made.

Product worked great out of the box. Put it away for a week to use for camping and only two of the lights worked and are very dim. Too bad. Product seemed well made.

We received this collar as a gift. Everyone loves it. (Dog, kid, hubby, neighbors, etc.) Its awesome for waking the dog at night. It's also really fun letting him run around without a leash. Great both inside and outside. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the blinking setting, so I'm glad it gives the choice of no blink, slow blink, or fast blink. The light is bright, but it's a soft bright, not harsh. Kind of relaxing actually!Our dog really seems to like it. Comfortable padded quality collar.I'm sure we'll be purchasing these for the in-laws around the holidays. They live on a farm and I'm sure they'll get a kick out of watching the dog run around too.I'd also like to point out that the size Medium fits our 35lb dog on the smallest setting, so this size probably won't work on tiny dogs. I'm know this size works well for collie and lab size dogs as well bc that what our friends have.

One of the coolest dog products I've seen so far. Perfect for late afternoon/night walks. The quality of this collar is amazing, it's very thick and resilient. Feels like it will last a really long time. I've bought a lot of those regular nylon collars for my dog and they never last. This collar is super thick and even the buckle is thick. Has soft material lining inside to keep your pet comfortable while wearing it. The lights are very bright and visual as well. When it's too hot to walk during the day, at least I know walking my dog at night is not as dangerous anymore. Pet owners of large breed dogs, this collar is for you. It has four different settings and to turn it off or change the lights, you must push a button on the small black box on the collar.I received this product at a promotional price in exchange for my unbiased review.
