To make sure that my breakfast keeps warm, I prep my container by pouring boiling water inside and closing the lid for 15 minutes. It helps to retain the heat for longer.

Do not buy this item. I purchased two from amazon. Well two months later, one of them does not keep food hot. I contacted the company and they said 'oh you have to go for amazon for this.' Well, amazon has a "Can't return after 30 days," and it as after 30 days. It's been 2 months.They do not support their products. Don't buy them. I find a company that won't support what they sell despicable. And, oh yes, don't believe 'responsibly made in China' either.

Works as intended, keeps food hot. Wanted a thermos that didn't have plastic touching the food, and this fit the bill. Opening is plenty wide enough to get a spoon in to eat hot food.

I use this for coffee, pouring it into my mug at work. It keeps it really hot. Very easy to clean and no leaks!

It's keeps my food nice and warm even in sub 0° temperatures and doesn't leak.

Purchased bc I didn’t want plastic touching food, which this fulfills. Food was piping hot after 1 hour, but only lukewarm at hour 5. It’s good for my purposes which is commuting to the office, but not good for longer trips, say hiking or bringing a hot snack somewhere.Size is good and easy to hand wash. Easy to open/close lid.I’ll prob look at the klean kanteen TKcanisters for my next purchase. I orig thought they had plastic lids but there’s a removable silicon cover they provide to put around the plastic

The jar was purchased for keeping hot coffee during travels.Though, after 2-3 hours the initially almost boiling coffee is hardly warm.The jar doesn't keep heat at all and is completely useless !!!

It works great for soup. Stayed really hot for over 6 hours
