Oxo recommended these filters and I can see why. They work well in filtering some additional sediment from the coffee.

Love it - Well worth the $50. Takes most of the mess out of of making the cold brew. I do use the filters with it for a clear clean brew

A little smaller than I thought and takes a lot of coffee grounds.

Exactly what was needed and desired, works perfectly and makes the cold brew coffee so much better as it gets those fine grains of coffee grounds that get past the mesh filter.

I have used the Toddy for years, and had two minor issues with it. First, the filters got funky pretty quickly, and second the container tended to stain. Both of these issues do affect the taste of the coffee. I purchased the OXO because of my extensive experience with the brand. The plastic used in the holding chamber is of a much higher quality than the Toddy and consequently it is possible to get it completely clean without residue accumulating. The filter is also much cleaner, eliminating the buildup problem. I would give it a five-star rating if the carafe was more usable, and if the holding chamber was designed for 12 oz of coffee (it's only really designed for 10 oz). The carafe is awkward and really is only designed for 10 oz, while most bags of beans that I buy are 12. My solution is to make the coffee in the OXO (the chamber is large enough without the top), let it drip into the carafe, and then transfer it to the Toddy carafe. Now I have the perfect system.

Works great to reduce sediment with certain models of the Hamilton Beach Flex brewer. Place it in the basket underneath the loose coffee basket. Do not place it inside the loose coffee basket or you will have a mess.

These work great and last a long time since I'm only making one cold brew a week.
