Test results appear to be accurate, but as a senior with some dexterity challenges, I have found the strips in be opened from their individually wrapped foil packets. I'm sure there's a technical reason for wrapping them so, but if it's to limit contact with the strip itself before it's inserted in the meter, well that's a fail. Most of the time I end up having to claw the strip out of the foil and handle it all over the place before managing to get it into the meter! It probably adds a big cost to produce them as well just for the packaging.

Pricey for a pack of 50 but takes just a little bit of blood. I use my FSA account to buy these.

I originally bought this meter to safeguard my diabetic cat's health. She's since passed and now I'm using it conjunction with my recent adoption of a ketogenic diet. The cost of the strips wasn't an issue with the cat since I rarely needed to check her status. However, now they're just really pricy for more than 1x/day use. All the strips for all the meters are just as costly, so I don't think Keto-Sens is gouging, but it sure would be wonderful if someone developed a less costly strip.

I have been on keto diet for more than 4 years. I checked my blood ketone levels twice a week to make sure that I am always in nutritional ketosis (0.5 to 3.5 mmol/L).I appreciate Ketosens' s post sale email.
