What's in My House?: A Slide and Find Book

great book to get baby interested to look at
my 20m baby took it every day to read by himself or took it to me to explain a bit more while reading. Very fun to explain the pictures, dog is opening the door, cat is the reading a book in the sofa, etc.

Love the sliders
I love this book as it is slide to reveal. The lift the flap books are a favorite for ripping the flap off and this solves that issue.

The Joke is on Me
I recently gave this book only one star due to what I thought were editing errors. Obviously, I should’ve asked my five-year-old grandson to read it before I submitted my review. I’m sure he would’ve pointed out that, in fact, all the “Can you spot” objects WERE present and accounted for on each of the pages. Granted they were not identical to the sample (two were only half visible and one was under a flap). Apparently I and the two other adults I asked to read the book, are all in need of a new pair of glasses. I humbly apologize to Amazon Readers. I am usually more reliable than this. I will concur with other reviewers that the flaps are great, but the slides were somewhat frustrating to open and close. So I have upgraded my review to three stars. And will add that the illustrations are very cute, colorful, and silly, which makes for lots of added interaction with your toddler.

Cute, Educational, and FUN
These books are my daughter's favorite. Bought them for her when she was around 15 months and she still loves them now at 21 months. The slides could move a little easier so that's the only "issue" but not that serious. She loves to find the objects and on each page there is an object to find that is more than one which is a fun for the kids to find and count as well. There are also a lot of little things happening in each picture that you can ask your kid to find as well. Love these books, wish there was more than 3 different ones because they are great.

Slides are hard to open
The book is so cute and lots of words and pictures. But sliding the “windows” is impossible for little fingers. I have a hard time with it!
