Q: Does this work on sneakers?

These stretchers do not work well on ANY shoes, especially on women's shoes with a smaller toe box. I returned this product and ordered the wooden shoe stretcher by KIWI (stretching is usually needed for one shoe only) and the spray "shoe stretch". Used these on a canvas shoe.

Q: Can you use these if the top part of the shoe is too tight?u

Junk , the only place these fit is the garbage can

Q: wl this work on the straps of sandals that are too tight across the small toe?

It should, as long as you can wedge against both sides of the strap. Might not work with an angled strap. Also, I did not have much luck with non-leather shoes. This works best for leather shoes or boots, I think.

Q: How long do I have to wait until it takes effect

I left them in my boots for 24 hours, then another 24 hours. Works great.
