Does as promised. I used this often for marking where I need to cut. Leaves a minimal mark, less obvious than pencil marks, etc.

Works great so far while testing a soft plywood and the Douglas Fir 2x4 I had lying around. Very simple to guide and move along both surfaces. I’m between projects at the moments so I haven’t had the chance to use it to its full function within the process of woodworking. What I can say is that it was sharp enough for sure to get the markings. The overall tool is light weight and easy to use. I like that there are spare blades that come well packaged in their own individual container. The rod, brass, and blade come in their own wrapper as well. I think some kind of mini case will go well with this type of device so now I can probably cut my own up using this little guy. As someone who has really spent a good amount on tools this year as the woodworking has ramped up, my thought process with this purchase was to invest in tested and respected products. Based on reviews and YouTube University this is one of those pay for the good stuff so you’re not regretting it in a month and paying more out later.

Con un ligero apretón en el tornillo de ajuste y se traba firmemente en la medida deseada. Tiene 3 detalles que pueden no ser relevantes, pero me parecen dignos de mencionar: -Los números están impresos en relieve y no granados, pero con una buena regla no hay problema. -La guía de acero no está graduada en toda su extensión, pero se soluciona igual. Además, para marcar longitudes mayores, quizás habría perdida de precisión. -El precio es un poco elevado, pero considerando mi satisfacción con el producto, este punto pierde su trascendencia. Completamente recomendable.
