It took them a couple of days to firgue out it was for them. I work on my pc a lot so they are always in here laying on the floor-so I thought a bed was in order. My 12 year old poodle went first and made it his and then my younger Corgi went in. For the first few days one or the other was in it and then one day I turned around and they were sharing it-snoring away ;-) The bed is quality material, very soft and the sides give them that secuirty like when thier in our bed-they take our pillows and build a little fort. Very easy to clean and even if your dog has never had a bed (mine had not) they will firgue it out and love you even more for it. Great quailty and price give your dogs a break from the hard floor even if it is carpeted you try laying on that for a while. We love our dogs they are my kids!

Good size bed, perhaps even a bit big for my 11 lb pup, but she loves it. It looks comfy, nice design, no real complaints other than cleaning. I assumed it would have a removable cover, but it does not. It is machine washable, however unless you have a front load or REALLY roomy top loader, I can't see how you're going to get it very clean in a washing machine. I gave it a go but when I stuffed it in my washer it had to squish in between the agitator and wall so during the load it never really moved around. It also leaves your washer unbalanced unless you find something to put on the other side, because let's face it, if your dog vomits on the bed and you need to wash it, you're not going to be putting your clothes on the other side.Overall no real complaints, just wanted to let people know it's not a removable cover and is not terribly washer friendly. In the future I'll probably wash it with a hose and sponge instead.

We purchased 3 of these because our dogs have beds all over the house. This bed is for our newest little 10 pound dog. He loves it. He can rest his head on the side, but typically curls up and leans against a side. The bed is a reasonable size - not too big or too small. One of my concerns about the other dog beds I was considering was the size. We didn't want one too big. The size is good - not overly padded to seems to big, but padded enough to be so comfortable for our little man. It is about the size of an European pillow. We have yet to wash it, so I'll update this review if it doesn't wash well. Until then, believe this is a good, quality product. Your little family members will enjoy! :)

Bolsters are high and very puffy. Looks comfy, unfortunately I bought it to put in a side opening crate and when I took it out of the box a shook it out it won't fit. I returned it, too expensive for me to have it just sitting around.

I washed this ONCE in the delicate cycle along with the rest of my dog's pillows. Upon opening the washer, I saw fluff tufts everywhere! I was freaking out thinking that the really old bed I bought at Ross had shredded into the rest of my items, until I saw this bed, ripped open on the bottom, with stuffing hanging out. Really? That fast? (If you're wondering about the Ross bed, it is still fine to this day...) And, as if that wasn't bad enough, it has NO cushioning, even before the wash. It looks fluffy out of the box, until the dog lays on it once. Totally not worth the $25 I spent on this.

The bed in the photo appears much more firm than it really is. My dog's bed is only a month old and the front is already sagging. I have a much less expensive bed for my other dog that has held up better. Also, the white interior (not beige as it appears) shows dirt very badly.

I got this the other day to replace my mixed terriers old bed which had a large hole in the bottom from him digging at it. I put his favorite toy in it and he just got right in. Now he doesn't want to leave it. It is large enough for him to stretch out or to curl up in. The padding is perfect for him. I place an old bath towel in it so the white interior of the bed doesn't get dirty when he comes in from the rain or the wet grass. This way I just wash the towel and the bed stays clean. The bed is suppose to be washable but I don't see a zipper to remove the outer shell so this is also why I use a towel to line the bed. He has no complaints.

I was looking for a bed that was less expensive than the higher end beds, easily washable and would fit all three of my pugs who prefer to sleep together and the bed works great for them. The sides are a tad floppy, but that may be a plus here as they can all find their spot and the slightly floppy sides allow for them to put their heads on them, i.e. makes for a little more soft room for them to spread out. I have owned this bed for a few months and although I haven't needed to wash it yet, I think it'll be just fine. I am ordering this as a second bed for downstairs. I have noted the comment from another reviewer that when she washed it, the bottom split. I plan on using a gentle/delicate cycle and I anticipate no problems. A regular washing cycle might be too vigorous for this and similar items.
