The saguaro is a symbol of the American Southwest, an image that evokes the idea of sunsets, howling wolves, tabletop mesas and long winding desert highways. This tiny cactus has been handpainted in acrylics on a 13mm cork round, sealed, then set in a small surgical steel bezel. It hangs from an 18" surgical steel fine link chain that is secured with a 9mm lobster clasp. Surgical steel is a great alternative to silver as it is hypoallergenic and won't tarnish.
