Excellent compact sub that can reproduce the low e on a bass guitar. Many subs do not do this. I wanted the most lightweight (I am getting too old to lift heavy gear), compact and powerful sub that could go down to 41hz. I use it to gig with. The sub does not come with handles. I made my own out of two 24" nylon duffle bag type straps that were about 2" wide. I used a leather hole puncher to make 1/4" holes 1" from each end. Then I removed 4 of the flat head cap screws with an allen wrench, poked them through the strap ends and re-screwed them back in. Worked perfectly. My amp is a powerfull but lightweight QSC GX7. There is a crossover switch that makes the B channel output low pass, while making the A channel output high pass. The sub goes into Channel B and my Full Range Speaker into Channel A. Previously, I was always trying to get decent bottom end from my full range 12" woofer/1" horn band speaker by boosting 50Hz on my mixer, then sticking it into a corner to help bring out the bass. Now every show has effortless low end quality and I enjoy performing much more knowing the sound is great. Should have bought this years ago but I was too cheap. Yes it was expensive but sometimes there are no short cuts.
