This new gas mask helps to protect the face, eyes and respiratory system against chemicals and radioactive and biological warfare agents in the form of gases, vapors, aerosols and more. The face of the mask is made of plastic and it has one large viewfinder and the absorption mount is located at the bottom of the mask. The mask is designed for an FP-5 filter (NATO standard thread) and other filters with NATO standard threads can also be used. It comes in a heavy-duty vinyl transport bag with multiple pockets and two nylon webbing straps with MOLLE compatible clip hooks. Collectible only, not for safety use

Better Than I Expected
So mine came in a size 2 which I think is what the say is the all around size. My head is medium-size medium hats, helmets beanies etc. I feel like I could use a size bigger but overall it's fairly comfortable and most importantly seals right up. The mask I received was definitely used to some extent. Had a little sand in it, no biggie. Slightly discolored lens with a few light scratches. No other damage. Included a new "expired" filter and a very nice carry bag. Overall I'd recommend this to someone without a mask that doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg on one. I might pick up a couple more to have on hand.

just about perfect
everything is in good brand new condition. the only damage is the water tube cover piece is broken so if it falls off it wont stay on the mask, and the exhaust port looks like it took a smack and is a little broken but it still holds a seal and exhaust still works so its in working condition. completely clean and doesnt smell weird, its good to go!

Used or New Gas Mask?
Suppose to be "new" so Amazon claimed, but still got it and mine came in today. It looked "used" to me. I cleaned my "Polish" military gas mask somewhat to get it cleaned more. The window visor was dusty and crappy looking, but after cleaning it with some cleaning wipes, it looked much better. It's a tight fit on my head and I don't have a real big head and short hair. I could not wear my eyeglasses with this gas mask on. The filter looked mighty old, but will use a fresh 40mm filter I got today. The green case looked way too big for this gas mask....not sure if it really was for this particular gas mask. Anyways, the case came in fine shape. Overall, 3 stars I rate this....but prepare to clean it somewhat when you get one of these masks.

Better options to get this mask at a better or similar price
I have bought several of these, but first time on amazon. At this point I'd suggest that you look elsewhere the one I received has been sifted through, the drinking tube is gone and the outer protective layer is gone, the filter is extremely worn and over used and not in it's usual sealed bag or even the usual filter not worth paying the price this seller is asking.

Awesome
I love it I have a small face it fit perfectly. Some slight discoloration on the lense but other than that and the filter being expired well worth the money

One of the best masks ive used yet
One of my fave gasmasks. The other reviewer said he found cheaper and better options but i havent seen cheaper (atm other options are close to 70) only complaint is that i cant find spare filters for it. But the mask is excellent condition and clean, the filter was good condition too no suspicious dents or cuts in it.

Price should be lower considering--
I have two major things to talk about the product, so here we go.1. A small discrepancy: This is apparently an ARF-A, a French gas mask. The Poles made a licensed copy of this design and named it the MP-5. Overall they're mostly the same mask but made a few small changes, the easiest difference to spot is in the speech diaphragm cover. (The French ARF-A has a bunch of circular holes on the diaphragm, the same ones in the pictures of the product, while the MP-5 has circles.)Reasonable mistake, considering how similar they are, and how there's a ton of people online that list them all as MP-5s, but the seller should definitely confirm and change the name of the product if appropriate.2. Actual Issues with the product. While the seller does warn about it not coming with any of the side stuff, just the mask, a filter, and the bag, I've found and listed some problems with it:- "Wear and tear" present is most definitely not *just* from shipping, processing and exporting. I'm almost positive this product was used to some extent. The packaging was not original at all, including for the filter which apparently expired in 02/2018. (3 years ago as of writing this review)- The bag has stains on it like someone lightly smeared food on it from their hands and even has faint writing in marker. The stains look like they're cleanable, but still kind of a pain.- The mask is perfectly good, with a bit of slight wear and tear, EXCEPT FOR-- The exhale valve. It does not work. at all You could both intake and push out air through the exhale valve, when you're only supposed to draw in air from the filter and exhale through the valve.- Upon uncovering it, I find that the umbrella rubber piece of the valve was not present at all. Probably replaceable, and covering that up I could confirm the mask was airtight otherwise, but I don't think I should need to hold my hand over the exhale valve just to be able to use it effectively lol.Overall, I think this is OK. The mask and bag otherwise are in great shape, it's very comfortable overall, and I find nothing other than cosmetic issues otherwise, except for the exhale valve. It is probably possible to find a replacement rubber valve, but if you're not wanting to take that risk, I would maybe find somewhere else to get it from if you wanted the full working mask, and maybe even get it with all the doodads that usually came with it.
