Works like a Dream
i really love this product OMG its a life saver! i know a lot of people complain about it not being long enough and tbh i think its fine. its meant for the side of the bed so maybe the people complaining are expecting it to go over their head and if thats what they want its not this product. and a reference to this product is that my mattress is a good 10 inch thick and its long enough. Also another thing i notice about the other buyer complains are that it didn't fit their phones. I have a iPhone 7 Plus and i have to say its a little snug for my phone but i can squeeze it in and its fine. the only reason i give it 4 star is i feel like the product is cheap material and this product can really got at most is $15 idk y its so expensive.

It may work for you
This does hold the phone pretty well and is adjustable for all phone size devices. It is not big enough for tablets. It is too short to put it under the mattress unless you like to lay very close to the edge of your bed. I put it under my hip when I'm laying down, but that makes the arm quite long so I have to bend it over quite a bit. The other problem is the flat stabilizing plastic at the bottom is not wide enough, it tilts and makes the thing difficult to adjust since it moves all the time. Also, I got into a weird position the other day and happened to roll over on it and the plastic base broke off from the arm. So now i'm trying to figure out how to fix it without buying another one. This product is good in concept and the part that grabs your phone works pretty well - just make sure you clamp it tight or it will drop your phone. However there are some issues and you do have to be careful with it.

Paradoxical design, good for the careful user.
Product was received happily in good condition. However, the plastic holder for the intended bedside phone broke 5 minutes after package opening. Repair efforts were made without prejudice to reverse engineering but the process was too tedious after about 2 hours in the trying. Product is available locally in SG and coincidentally 'broke' the same way but in the latter case the incident took place after several months of use.Perhaps a sticker put in place of the view of the adjustable top holder made mostly of plastic to caution against asymmetrical extension or retractions could be stuck on to prevent accidental damage to the upper structure. The waste is in the design of the delicate upper holder, and also in the the sturdy malleable metal trunk structure an Asian woman might find hard to adjust, but easy to use. Paradoxical design. Maybe a suggestion toward aluminium for the upper part of the holder in place of plastic to complement the metal trunking could be in the works.

Excellent phone noodle
I bought a new headboard thinking it had a bit of a shelf on it, but it did not. When I was coming up with ideas for bedside storage, I found that the only things I really needed right there were a chapstick and my phone. This is a superior option for such necessities as reading in bed, checking the cameras, and snoozing the alarm. No more fumbling the phone, or sleepily, dropping it on my face or yanking the charger. I wish it were a little longer (I have a regular spring mattress) but it does the job well. It seems to be the only option if you don't have something to attach a clamp onto, so I'm glad it's a good one!

This is very handy to use to view youtube at night! My only complaint with it is that the base is not quite wide enough to ensure firm stability throughout the night on a relatively unstable bed that can move around easily, and the neck could be more stiff so it does not move around as easily. But other than how the mount moves around during night time movements, if you are just laying there watching your phone while mounted to this mount, it is pretty darn nice and I have no complaints in that exact instance.

When this arrived on my door I knew things had changed
If you need a wake up call in your life that your a lazy piece of crap, this purchase will do that and shake you to your core. How heavy is your phone? Order this and then go look in the mirror and tell yourself that you father was right, you are a lazy piece of crap.Easy to setup, works okay enough.

teenager's dream product
My 18-year-old (usually two-fisted with his iPhone and a tv remote) loves the option to be "hands-free" with this phone, and no longer needing to ask one of us to video tape him dancing. The only suggestion I'd make to improve the produce is a bit more stability in the base. You have to adjust it/balance it just right, or it will tip over. Seems to work FAR better with a mattress (which is heavier all over) than a couch cushion (which has varying levels of weight on it, depending how one sits/repositions).
