DC Comics: Detective Comics: The Complete Covers (Volume 1)

Not happy with this purchase. I mainly purchased this book for my collection. This book printed in China ! Not original DC issue ! No where at Amazon... it has been mentioned that... the country of Origin is China ! If you are buying this for reading purpose ... it's okay. But, not worth to keep this for collection

No es lo que dice la descripción

The title of the item I bought was "DC Comics: Detective Comics: The Complete Covers Vol. 1" No where in that title does it mention that the book I purchased was tiny. The book is very tiny. It's a thick book but it's no bigger than a folded dollar bill. What good is looking at great pieces of art if the art is no bigger than 2 inches by 2 inches. The same company is selling a vol. 2...needless to say I will not be buying that book.

This collection is missing at least one cover, issue number 7. Also many of the images are blurry and the coloring quality is inconsistent. Issues #33 and #38 have cool blurbs about the historical significance of those particular issues content but then this feature is not repeated again anywhere else in the book.Save your money and hunt down the 1993 edition instead which has clearer and bigger cover scans, the date of release for each issue listed alongside each cover with artists credits, and an informative introduction by Batman historian, Joe Desris.
