Back in ancient times the egg was a symbol of the universe, of creation, and in some cultures, luck wealth, and health. Locket is 1 & ¼" (32mm), can be embellished inside with text, graphics, or picture. High quality 18" chain with a 4" additional detachable extender chain. Also a neat thing is you can do this--> slide locket off necklace chain, and onto extender chain and use as a key chain, or purse (strap) ornament, (when not wearing pendant locket around neck). And/or use 4" extender chain with other necklaces too! Nests are meticulously & skillfully hand woven using four different wires, in browns, gold, & copper, & in different thicknesses, to provide contrast & dimension (much like in the wild).
