Pay for quality and comfort
Comfortable from the first wear. I work 12+ hours a day as a hgv driver and they are flexible and soft enough leather to drive in all day long without cracking or splitting across the cap. They jave a good non slip sole whether its climbing in and out of the wagon or working in the fridge or freezer compartments in the back. They're not heavy like some safety boots and don't have a clumsy really rounded toe. This is my 3rd pair because I would rather pay for quality. Highly recommended if you are in safety boots all day as they're like slippers whether you're walking, standing or driving.I find all safety boots a bit on the generous size and I do have to wear 2 pairs of socks with these (most) boots but that is more down to quality safety boots not coming in half sizes.

Appears good quality and durable.
Firstly these are black not honey and initially seem very good quality and appear extremely durable. Though they are steel toecapped which was not advertised so are rather heavy but are fine for me. Will update this review in a year as had so many types of boots where sometimes the soul becomes partly unglued from the soul.Hopefully not these, well the toe end is certainly stiched to the soul but cannot be sure of the rest even though it appears to be. (Been caught out by that one many times) fingers crossed and I feel confident that I will supply a positive rereview later.

Work boots for workers
Read a few negative reviews of these types of boots. This is how the world of boots works....If you have spent your life having your tendons wrapped up in cotton will via expensive trainers, real boots are going to hurt your feet. This is not the boots fault. It is your fault. Toughen up and get used to pain while your feet stop being babies. If you complain the boots are too big this is because you are walking around in them wearing office socks. Do not wear office socks with work boots. they are designed to be paired up with extra thick work or mountaineering socks. If you make this complaint, again it's your fault. If you complain that the ankle section is too tight you need to educate yourself about what function this part of the boot serves. It's designed to be used temporarily when you are on insecure ground like rocks. You lace the boots all the way up and draw the pads around your ankles so that if you lose your footing you don't twist your ankle. For normal use you never do the laces up higher than the eyelets, not the hooks. These are very well made boots and well worth the money....for people who understand how boots work.
