Fantastic story for beginners
Great book, delivery was fast, and book was in great condition, I recommend reading this book if you've never read a teenage mutant ninja turtles comic before, and then when you finish it, I recommend getting TMNT the idw collection, 8.5/10.

Totalmente a color.
Totalmente coleccionables.

Several years ago I was excited at the hardcover colour release of the original Mirage series. I was disappointed as they made several really bad decisions including the pizza-themed box set (antithetical to the content, which was the original Mirage series, where no comic ever so much as mentioned pizza), and the decision to keep the same price point across all volumes despite the later volumes having far less in terms of page count or quality in content. Worse, the "works" volumes only included the very beginning and the very end of the original canon, where they could be forgiven for omitting Image Comics' volume 3 but otherwise the decision to jump into City at War and skip over years of continuity within the Mirage TMNT series run was pretty hard to forgive. This time around they've started off much better. It's the same full-colour content of Works volume 1 but also includes the first Michelangelo short, which is a sign that they're not just copying what they did a few years ago in the hard-cover releases). They've themed it with the original Mirage #1 cover, dropping the pizza heresy, and they've priced it very reasonably for a full-colour paperback.I sincerely hope they keep the content volume across the rest of this run, and include full volume 1, 2, and 4. If they do that, collecting all the shorts together like they do in the IDW's own current TMNT series volumes, and if they wrap up Volume 3's current re-run into its own omnibus, and if they do the same for Tales of the TMNT's re-release paperback series coming out later this month, this will all be just excellent and right in the world.I should add in terms of *content*, the original TMNT series was one of my favourite comic series runs of all time. There's some nostalgia there, but really the TMNT were a group unlike any of the Marvel or DC heros, unafraid to kill off their rogues gallery and unwilling to be defined by a genre.
