Tropicana Slim Arabic Sweets Syrup - 350 ml

Tropicana Slim never fails to amaze me with their quality and taste. This syrup is perfect as a substitute for recipes that require syrups such as honey and maple syrup. It doesn't cook like sugar, so don't expect it to replace ingredients like Corn Syrup or glucose syrup, but can be used to substitute honey on toast, or even mixed with peanut butter to make energy bars. The ingredient is maltitol, which is a polyol that is as close to sugar as you can get. It tastes the closest to sugar, but it's not necessarily the best substitute for sugar out there. However, if you're looking to reduce sugar intake, this is a good start! As with other natural sweeteners, don't over consume them or you might experience bloating.
