Very sturdy and simple installation!
Couldn’t be happier with this paper towel holder! I’ve been wanting one for a specific spot in my kitchen that I could not drill because of wiring there. I was skeptical about the adhesive models that require no nails or screws. I’m glad I took a chance on this unit! I cleaned my wall thoroughly and let it dry for a good 24 hours before I installed on the wall. It was very simple, a matter of seconds to place and level. I laid my pocket level right on the shelf with the adhesive backing off and set it with level in place to assure it was straight. I hard pressed the entire adhesive backing with a paint scraper to assure there were no bubbles and a sturdy grip to the wall. I let the holder sit a few hours before I tested its strength. I first tested it with a few of my light plants and my Amazon Echo. Held no problem. Then I tested it with three of my thick hardback novels and it held that as well. So I’m very pleased. Right now I have had my Echo and a few books and decor on the shelf for a week now with no problems or adhesive lifting from the back panel. The paper towel rod is sleek and sturdy also with hooks for easy changing of rolls. Thoroughly pleased with this unit!! Going to add one to my makeup station to hold my palettes and cleansing towel rolls.

Didn't last in our RV
Space utilization in key in an RV. and in a BRAND NEW RV, we didn't want to drill a bunch of holes in the walls, so we tried the adhesive (command strip style) spice rack with paper towel holder.First trip went okay, but on the trip home, all of the paper towels came unraveled all over the table and chairs. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Here in southern Oregon, it gets pretty warm. 90's on average during the summer. Which means over 100 degrees inside the trailer when it's not running the A/C. Long story short, it got warm enough to melt the adhesive, and the whole rack was scattered around the trailer with the adhesive pad landing face down. It's toast. I'll try a different route before trying adhesive racks again.

Works as advertised
Haven't tested the weight limit but seems sturdy enough and stuck to my slightly uneven, textured wall just fine. I'm a bit worried about removal and it came with no removal instructions, hence the 1 star off. I'd be more at ease if I knew this wouldn't be damaging, but since I literally can't use screws (both not allowed and the wall is solid concrete), this was the next best option. I used it for a slightly different purpose than advertised, but amazon refuses to let me upload photos through the app OR online, so I can't show it.

As advertised
Easy to install, stays in place, works for small kitchen. In reviewing customer comments noted the following that fit us: we are in a rental and do not want to damage the wall; paper towel holder needs to be tight (use included tools); removal is easy with a blow dryer. Only question I had was if I could purchase a replacement adhesive pad for when we move. Did post that question... we will see how they respond.

Not a great purchase. Wish I'd got something else.
First, I chose the nickel finish to match faucet. It is not. Just regular chrome - front piece slightly "brushed". Does not match at all. Moves "wobbly". Worst part - paper towel roll flies off every time. Every time. Have rubber bands holding each end of the paper towel bar on to unit. Disappointing for brand new purchase. So many were available. Wrong choice.
