AIM SportsMP5/H and K Scope Mount, Small, Black

The title of this product is misleading. It is in fact a scope mount for an MP5 but there are many H&K licensed MP5s out there. I have a feeling this is for an H&K licensed air soft gun. I have an actual H&K, Walther made, MP5 A5 .22lrThe product itself is as expected. it's cut from a solid piece of aluminum. (except for the two detectable feet needed for mounting)After seeing the official low profile scope mount for $100, I started looking around and came across this mount. Most of the reviews stated they needed to take a drimmel tool to it to make it fit. I needed to pick of a drimmel tool anyway for a couple of other projects so I bought the dremmel and this for the same price of the official mount after shipping costs are added on.First off, the mount goes on without any issues at all. Only problem is that it's slightly crooked.This is because the bottom of the mount touches the top of the gun before it's fully set in place.I'll explain what I had to do to get it to fit and hopefully this will help anyone looking to buy this knowing they might have to alter it a bit.Start with grinding down the little notch that is visible in the picture. (by the leg on the right) This notch runs across the bottom of the the mount and needs to be deeper.Keep trying to fit it on the mp5 looking for where it is visibly touching that might be keeping it from setting flush across the top of the gun.I ended up grinding down the whole bottom side of the mount but I think I may have taken a little to much off. It's not noticeable, just would have saved me time if I would have started with deepening the notch and then the whole underside.I rated this 4 stars because the product does what it's supposed to do. One star is deducted for the product title generalizing all H&K licensed MP5s that are clearly not all equal.I did not deduct any stars for having to alter the product as I knew going into it from other reviews that it wouldn't fit my version of the MP5. I chose to buy anyway and make it a fun project. If you screw it up; it is only $9 wasted.

I installed this AIM sports mount on a Cetme. It fit very well. Mine is stamped receiver. I modified the install by drilling and tapping the mount into the receiver using set screw type threaded screws. I did this to absolutely eliminate any possibility of the mount moving under recoil.(HK gunsmiths too have to either weld or tap a plug into the mount to keep it from moving.) They have the same problems we do! This mount is solid and works fine. I think this mount will work fine with GSG .22 rifles without this modification. However, for the C93 rifles and cetme or clones. I think it is a must to modify. That said, this mount is well made, low profile and sturdy. It is not the mounts fault that HK design does not lend itself readily to mount fitting. However, my modification was easy and took only general use tools to accomplish.

This mount is for an H&K style weapon because of the claw mounting system. The package I got had MP5 and GSG5 printed on it. This mount does not line up exactly on a H&K 93 rifle. The H&K 93 rifle has grooves to mount and this one does not match those same grooves. However, the mount still attaches and does hold solid. I have not tested the mount and scope with 168gr BTHP to know if the mount holds up to the recoil. It is a very light mount even with a scope attached. The 93 is a heavy barrel and this setup does make shooting in unsupported positions a little easier. As stated before, I have not yet tested the mount and scope with live ammo. I will have to update once I do so on a range.

Reviews weren't bad and price was good. I heard a few people complain about alignment but at this price I decided to give it a shot. Honestly I was expecting a piece of plastic, but it is metal (aluminum I think). Ordered with standard shipping on the 23rd, received today on the 25th! Way faster than I expected. I took it home at lunch and installed it on my gen1 GSG-5. It fits perfectly and is really snug. No alignment issues at all. I have an AIM Tactical reflex sight coming in tomorrow that I'm going to mount on it, then off to the range on Friday or Saturday.*Notes*Make sure you know how to put it on before you attempt to do so. You can scratch the finish of your gun if you're careless. There are plenty of youtube videos showing you how to mount it. Just search for "GSG claw mount"I saw some people ask in other places if you can still see down the iron sights while this is mounted. The answer is - With just the mount (no sight on it), yes you can still see down the iron sights.

If you're concerned about looks, this claw mount is pretty ugly....But for functionality, it gets 5 stars. The lines going through the middle of the mount make it look terrible.You can still see your sights clearly, it mounts things on it perfectly, and this mount is also sturdy and does not wobble/tilt when mounted on your GSG-5 or Airsoft replica.The finish of the mount has a few scratches and it also has a few anomalous black shiny spots...and the lines of the mount are just UGLY. I have to repeat that 3 times because of how ugly it is.All in all, it was a great buy. The seller even includes a video on youtube for its assembly.Time to get the dremel and the spraypaint out....

I ordered this for a cheap mount on my C93 sporter. Cheap gun deserves a cheap mount right?Anyway it will not fit a C93 or HK93 out of the box. To fit, the rearmost portion of the rail needs to be cutoff, and a little light machining with a dremel or equivalent on the bottom of the mount. Nothing that 15 min and careful work couldnt fix. Seems to hold well, and fits extremely snug after my light adjustment. Make sure you locktite your screws!if you want a premium mount for your HK 91/93 or clone, to shoot long range with high power optics, this is not it! If u want something inexpensive to mount a red dot on or low power optics, its perfect. Heck what more do u want or expect for 9 bucks?

This works great on my ICS MP5. It feels durable, easyish to get on and the color really fits in with my gun. There are two basic screws that use an L key which is included with the package. Note that when getting it on it's not gonna attach right where you would expected it to be you have to slide it forwards to fit properly. It seems to be offset to the left a bit which is great since im right eye dominant, But if you are left eye dominant you can just flip it around.Pros:-Durable-Color fits-Perfect length for almost any sight-Offset by a little-Cheaper than at an airsoft storeCons:-Hardish to attachOverall great product and way cheaper than if you were to buy one at an airsoft store!

I have an MP5K-PDW and got this rail to mount a scope on it. It didn't fit at all, being handy, I was able to modify it to work. But I spent over an hour with a Dremmel to trim and reshape it somewhat, and had to repaint it, so if you Have an MP5K-PDW look for another one unless you are prepared to modify it yourself.

Need some adjustment on the HK-MP5K to Fit.Try youtube if you need help.

Finally recieved my MP5 rail and discovered it is NOT a direct fit!Some modding is required to fit this thing :(Although it doesnt appear to be to far off...it can be done using a dremel.Quality and finish is great but the rating i gave for this item comes from me having to do anything to it to make it work!

Had to grind a bit for it to fit but it does its job
