Excellent grinder! Highly recommend
It is just what I needed! My previous grinder was the type where you hold down the button to grind and just pray/guess/check to see if the grind comes out right. In this one, I put the beans in, select the approx number of cups for the amount of beans I put in, and push the button, and voila! Works perfectly! The grind comes out exactly correct. As for the sound, well, it's probably best not to do it while someone else is sleeping, but otherwise it is really not at all a big deal. It's the typical sound of a grinder (one that you haven't paid a hundred or more for). Considering that even for the max amount of beans, the time of grinding is maybe 20 seconds. Don't know about you, but for 20 seconds I ain't spending triple-plus for something quieter. It's not that bad or important, at least for me!The only possible 'con' is that the top part that you turn anti-clockwise to take off to empty the grounds is a bit tricky to do at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's fine. But the first time is a bit of a struggle. (But don't give up! It does get better. 😊 )

Great coffee grinder
I had an older version of this grinder for several years before it finally died. This one is even better with some convenient features. You no longer have to hold the button down to grind, you just push it and with the settings you put in place you just push a button and it grinds based on those settings (so now you are free to use both hands to cover your ears, which I recommend - it is loud). Also the new 'Twist &Clean' feature is awesome. I typically grind a whole bag of coffee, so I'm grinding numerous small bowls, and I used to have to scrape it out between each one, but with the 'Twist & Clean' feature it does it very well. Would definitely buy this again.

LOUD! Good, but LOUD!
This is the perfect coffee grinder if you're stone deaf... 😳This works great, with adjustments so you can customize your grind. But it is very loud. I mean, VERY LOUD!!! It has a built in cleaner, which also works pretty well. You'll want to use the brush on the scoop every once in a while too. Just to keep things fresh. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 due to the noise it creates. If you get his, and you are usually the first one up in the morning to grind the coffee, be nice to those who share your home with you and grind the coffee the night before. Otherwise you may have some tired people rather unhappy with you each morning.Did I mention it's loud?

Good
Works great. Worth the money. Just realize that it has presets for the grind so push the button and walk away. It's not like the others that I've had where you sit there and watch it until you get the grind you want and turn it off. Build quality is good.

It’s uncomfortably loud, but has its pros
This grinder has a lot of pros and cons. The first thing that stands out to me is that it is very loud. It can be unpleasant every morning when trying to wake up. Some mornings I opted for my manual grinder. I like the idea that it has optional grind settings and a timeframe. Unfortunately, I often have a few larger chunks after grinding. It’s slightly inconsistent but it doesn’t affect the flavor of the coffee so it’s forgivable. The grinder is conveniently small in size so it is ideal for a small apartment apart from being very loud. It does have a self cleaning piece inside to help scrape it clean. I use a paper towel after scraping to finish the job. Compared to other grinder options, this one is affordable. So to summarize, it’s uncomfortably loud, slight inconsistent grind (not a huge deal), conveniently small size, easy to clean, and affordable.

Highly recommend
This grinder is so easy to use and to take apart to clean. I bought an otter brand of burr grinder a couple of years ago that was recommend by all of the coffee aficionados. It was a lemon and a disaster that I had to return. I have never had trouble with any of my small appliances (and I’ve had dozens over the years) except that one. This Oxo grinder absolutely lives up to up to elections for half the price. I’m so glad I have a burr grinder that works. It is miles ahead of my blade grinder, as promised. Bravo!!

One-Star Coffee Grinder - Disappointing and Useless!
I am extremely disappointed with this coffee grinder. From the moment I unpacked it, it simply refused to work. I tried plugging it into multiple different outlets in my home, but nothing happened. I also experimented with different grind settings, thinking that might be the issue, but still no luck. It never even sputtered or gave any indication that it was trying to start. It's completely dead.To add to my frustration, I live outside the USA and unfortunately, the return shipping costs make it impractical to send it back. So, I'm stuck with a completely useless piece of equipment and wasted money. I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality control of this product. I expected a working coffee grinder, especially after reading some positive reviews. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would definitely not recommend this grinder to anyone, especially those living internationally. Don't waste your money!
