Great Deodorant, organic or not
When I decided to move on from using more harmful deodorants, I tried several other brands (4-5) before landing on Green Tidings. My issue with the other organic products was that they either did not apply smoothly, too hard and flaky or too soft. They also did not last "all-day" or even some of the day as claimed. Those that I tried that were scented were also too light or too strong.I've stuck with Green Tidings since then as the Lavender scent is pretty mild and appropriate for a man or woman. It applies really well with only 1 or 2 swipes and will not harden or soften with the ambient temperature. The best part is the circular form factor that you would normally find with liquid roll-ons. It is the perfect fit for under the pits. It also lasts all day for me, and well into the next day depending on my level of activity.Overall, this is the best deodorant I've used in my lifetime, organic or not, and I'm glad I decided to make the switch. It is just as effective if not more so that non-alumimun based products for both deodorizing and anti-persperant but without clogging the pores with harmful ingredients. Your skin breath, so while this will not prevent your body from doing it's normal thing such as sweating like a harmful gel based alumin antiperspirant will, but you're still much better off for it as it is effective enough in dealing with sweat and will not leave that weird sticky residue in your armpits. The other organic brands did not completely convince me to give up the more popular non-organic brands. I was tempted to compromise based on what I had to do that day. Green Tidings has held up in every situation for me.

Great natural deoderant.
I have tried many natural deodorants in my life. I am too sensitive to the ones that contain baking soda, these work the best and If you can handle baking soda they are the one I suggest you, they work the best and last the longest. That being said this one does its job. I need to reapply on active days at least once. Id like to try one of their scented versions. I don't smell, but I think it would be nice to smell nice naturally. This is a great option for those looking for a natural, aluminum free deodorant. Especially if you have sensitive skin or chemical allergies.Update: This has baking soda in it. I was told it didn't and like a dummy I didn't even check. I was wondering why my underarms were starting to get irritated. Ill have to keep looking. The concentration isnt super high. But I still don't recommend for people with sensitive skin.

Natural, Gentle, Effective Deodorant
I am a health enthusiast and professional public health medical researcher with a Master’s in Public Health. I love finding and reviewing natural, healthy, and ethical products that promote health. Green Tidings Natural Deodorant is a great find. Take a look at the ingredients listed on the back of your regular deodorant and you will find some surprising ingredients. Among many of those ingredients are compounds that are linked to cancer, allergies, and immunotoxicity. Aluminum, Triclosan, Silica, Parabens, and Steareth-n are just a few chemicals you wear on your skin daily with many regular, non-natural deodorants. Please research the chemicals in your products and really consider investing in healthier options like Green Tidings. It is a huge relief to find organic, natural products like Green Tidings Natural Deodorant. This is a very gentle product that works with the strength of your regular chemical filled products. Green Tidings deodorant uses natural ingredients like, shae butter, coconut, and magnesium oil which is effective for transdermal absorption. Ingredients: Non-toxic, Organic, Vegan, Gluten-free, Corn-free, Soy-free, Paraben-free, SLS-free, Aluminum-free, Propylene-glycol free, Fragrance-Free, Petroleum and Petrolatum-free, Pthalate-free, Paraffin-free, Mineral Oil-free, no artificial colors, No Silicone Oil, No Menthol, Phenol, or Salicylic Acid, Certified Cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, & made in a solar powered facility As a public health professional and someone who is constantly researching healthier and more natural lifestyle options, I strongly stand behind this product. I ordered the 1oz Unscented deodorant for $7.99 which is on the more expensive end for deodorant but this one works well and I am not worried about sweat or smell throughout the day. I look forward to trying the lavender version. If you are considering incorporating more natural products into your life then I recommend starting with this. It works and it is another step towards a more natural healthy lifestyle. Check out Green Tidings products at: http://www.greentidings.org

Wait! What? Woah!!!👀
Woah! What just happened in my life? Did I find a deodorant that is all natural, no aluminum or parabens that can protect me from odor for over 24 hours? Why, yes! YES, I DID!!! I feel like I hit the lottery. Now I understand why the other reviews are so on point regarding this product. I get up at 4 AM every morning to go to the gym and take a shower after my workout. That’s my routine. So it’s been over 20 hours since I applied the deodorant. Smell my pits in the morning - no odor. Feeling confident in the product, I go to the gym for an epic workout… And I don’t screw around in the gym, I get it in! Sweat, blood and tears. After that epic workout, I get home and peel off my sweaty active gear. OK, now it is time for the smell test. ~sniff~? ~sniff sniff~???All of a sudden, a feeling of confusion turned into excitement and then overwhelming joy. I did not smell one particle of odor from my pits! NOT ONE! Customer For Life.Okay, now let me explain how it applies onto your pits. It is not as smooth as other deodorants, it goes on a bit more grainy. So it does not glide as smoothly as your previous deodorant. And, you will see small tiny chunks of granular product on your pits. That’s OK, simply put your arms down to the side and squeeze your arms in rocking them back and forth so that you can smooth down the product. Then lift up and check yourself in the mirror and they’re gone. Nothing more disgusting than seeing granular deodorant product under a hairy armpit. You won’t have that issue with this product. So, women can confidently wear sleeveless blouses and raise their hand, provided that you shaved your armpits, ahem, and not feel anxiety. The only thing I don’t like about this product is the ugly labeling. The style and design is more hippie/feminine looking and not manly. Would be great to get to have a feminine and masculine design label. People please share this product with everyone you know because this is a major breakthrough. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t write long reviews like this. This product is a game changer. Enjoy! 🤗

Unscented, 1 oz: Detox Your Pits First, Then Try!
Before you read my review, you must know: 1) I didn't go straight from using a commercial anti-perspirant or deo to trying this product. I suspect that any bad reviews you're seeing are coming from people who are doing that. 2) I haven't used standard products for over 7 years, having had cancer plus being chemically sensitive. I make my own, make do, or use what few products I can find, and that's for cleaning the house, personal care products, everything. Earthpaste brands for toothpaste, vinegar and water instead of windex, etc, etc. I detox regularly as a matter of habit and also a little every day because I tend to add a tiny bit of baking soda to my bar soap when I wash my armpits. Basically, I have a set of thoroughly and regularly detoxed arm pits. 3) Before I tried this product, even having not used standard deo for years and years, I used the apple cider vinegar and water detox recipe you can find on google, and dabbed the mixture on my clean pits after a shower, let dry, and then DID NOT APPLY any deo at all, each day for a full week. I do have bentonite clay (because I detox regularly) and it shows up in recipes but acv and water is all you need if you don't have that. Now that you know all these things, my review:If I could give this product enough stars to indicate fireworks and cartwheels, I would. Imagine a John Philip Sousa marching tune and girls twirling batons and confetti tossed into the air amid cheering crowds. My husband uses the supposed "natural" products like Tom's and Schmidts but I can't tolerate those, so I am absolutely THRILLED that I now have a stick deo that I can use. I can order it and it comes in a little stick and sits on the counter top and looks like a normal deodorant in the bathroom of a normal person. (When you're chemically sensitive, all that normalcy goes out the window fast.) And it works! With one application per day, absolutely no armpit odor, even when tested with the ole "face in your pits" test before stepping into the shower. Even better, as people who have detoxed their pits knows, one application every two days (one application for every two showers) works too.Odor test: Face in the pits: zero stink. I live in the US South where it's hot and humid. One day I had a vigorous workout outside when the humidity was especially vicious, when the temp was over 90 degrees, and I was on day two of my deo application. Stepping into the shower later, expecting the worst, face in the pits smell test: STILL NO ODOR!Wetness test: I'm not the best person to ask, given that I'm used to non-standard deodorants, so I tugged on my shirt a couple times a day as I remembered to test the dampness situation. I wear looser fit clothes so maybe it's not fair, but, unlike with my make-do or make-your-own deos, I had very little to absolutely no wetness. I was really surprised.Misc info: I tried the unscented and because I can tolerate no scent at all, I was overwhelmed by and thus frightened by the smell. However, it was of coconut oil, a scent I love and am well acquainted with because I make my own products. Of course I had no reactions to it; it just took getting used to. I still think it's a bit strong. When I make products with coconut oil, I don't smell the coconut oil like I smell this, but a non-chemically sensitive person wouldn't notice it at all.Easy To Spread: Coconut oil/wax is stiffer than you're probably used to with solid deodorants. I was already aware of this. Just gently place your palm over the stick for a few seconds before applying and your body heat will soften it. No problem to spread. As I read in other reviews, a couple swipes will do it. You don't have to put on much. Familiar with coconut oil/wax, I also rub the deodorant around my pits once I've swiped a couple times to make sure it covers the area.Green Tidings is the first product I've tried that I've liked and that I've considered to be actually safe and natural, and I do not plan on shopping around. I am sticking with them. For so many years, things like this were not available and then for a few more I was unaware of them. Anybody coming to the natural deodorant movement now is extremely lucky to have so many truly-safe choices. But going "natural" is work and it's not like the chemicals you're used to, so if you're unwilling to detox and to adapt, stick with the standard products. My life depended on it (cancer) and then I was struck with an almost-unliveable illness (MCS) which made anything else impossible, or, honestly, I'd still be bathing myself in and spraying myself with all the toxic chemicals that everybody else doesn't think twice about. Our pioneer ancestors (who didn't have 409 or Cover Girl or Pantene) were not wusses, and neither can we be if we want to ditch the poison. In this world of convenience, it's not easy to avoid toxins, but if it's worth it to you, you'll find a way.
