is this TEKnically good for growing mushrooms?

It's good for growing shrooms as an ingredient for the PF TEK. Many folks at the Shroomery use it. Even Amazon shows you that people who buy this also buy Brown Rice Flour. Not a coincidence.

Is this fine or coarse grade? I need fine grade, specifically.

I consider it fine. The pieces are not uniform. I don't know if we measure fine grades the same way though so I can't in good conscious recommend the product to you specifically

Does it contain fertilizer?

No although it seems to be a mineral. It expands when wet and hold moisture, thus helping seeds to germinate and grow and apparently also helping cuttings to take root. I have not done cuttings in it yet, but plan to. I just transplanted a small plant today that I started from seed in a 2" pot and that plant has a long root. (Didn't have time to measure it, but maybe five inches.) You need to mix vermiculite with potting soil, of course. I mix perlite, vermiculite and potting soil. Fertilize according to what you are planting in it.
