Looks great in my FJ Cruiser

I have a '13 Jeep Wrangler with manual transmission. This will fit over the shifting rod, but the 3 allen nuts that hold it will not screw in flush and therefore keep the bottom piece from being able to screw on. As a result, the threaded bottom portion of this is visible. I still give 5 stars because it's barely visible and the thing is really cool looking. Way better than the stock knob.

Like others have said, the installation of this is easy but leaves quite a bit to be desired. After following the instructions for installation, within my first drive the knob had loosened and was spinning around the shifter shaft. I solved the problem by using one of the smaller adapters and threading it to my shifter. Afterwards I drilled 3 small holes in the adapter so the set screws would sit flush. After, the knob sat tight and I couldn't be more satisfied.

I bought this for my Jeep Wrangler Sport, I was replacing a different one that I bought a few years ago. This really impressed me. not only does it fit tight it is heavy and sturdy and made of medal. it feels comfortable and to my surprise I have a very easy time shifting gears. I was skeptical at first but once I got it on that only took three min I then went driving and have driven around with it and I really like it it has a comfortable feel on my hand also. I have to say this Browning holds up to its name and even though this is for a vehicle they have once again impressed me. Fits Great Feels Great. I am very happy

The shifter is great but it arrived dinged and scarred up. Would have returned it but my nephew didn't care and it was too much of a hassle.

The Shifter Itself is Well Made but the Set Screw/Plastic Bushing Attachment is JUNK. Product needs THREADED Bushings for Attachment.

Didn't attach well to our shifter in Rubicon jeep - stays loose

Very solid piece, just a little ingenuity will alleviate any of the issues mentioned in other reviews about it coming loose or the allen bolts stripping. Just prior to mounting the shift knob, I inserted a fair amount of black RTV up into the knob (or I was going to use a 2-component epoxy kit) and then slid the knob down over the stick to where I wanted it, and tightened everything down snug without overtightening. I left it overnight to let the RTV cure solidly within the knob around the shaft inside. It's been solid as a rock ever since, very nicely weighted and made to last. I've been impressed with the workmanship and how it's designed to look just as great way down the road as the day you mounted it. I put it in my son's truck, and he gets a lot of compliments on it from his friends. Absolutely worth the $20 I paid for it... Arrived 3 days after I ordered it. I give it 5 stars easily...

Had to give it 5 stars for size weight and most important comfort!! Only thing is that it don’t stay tight as with most shifter knobs but not hard to drill it out and tap it to the correct threads of your shifter…installed on my tractor joy stick and love it

Does what it is supposed to. Definitely needs the shim? And Definitely needs to be done up tight, or the vibrations shake it loose. But I really like it, nice and comfortable.
