This dramatic African bracelet features authentic African trade beads mixed in with silver spacers and beads, wooden beads, blue, orange, red and yellow glass beads, czech glass beads, ceramic beads, chevron beads, lamp work beads and burgundy freshwater pearls. I collected many of the beads during my travels in South Africa and hand crafted the bracelet so as to capture the feel and look of Africa. I created a sense of balance and harmony through incorporating a variety of textures, colors, shapes, sizes and media. The beads were threaded onto memory wire which gives the piece a wonderful layered look as the coils twist around the wrist. The added benefit of memory wire is that there is no clasp to connect and to it is easy to slip on and off. It also allows for a flexibility in size. This piece of jewelry will look stunning with both formal and casual wear.
