This tool is well made and does what it claims. In hindsight, I should probably have gone for a smaller one. The strap is quite wide and chunky, which is good for undoing larger items, but the handle is more of a medium duty type. Personally, I think that handle would be better matched to a narrower, thinner and more flexible strap. If you are looking for something to remove oil filters and jam jar lids, this is probably too big, and so difficult to get "first lock". But it is what it claims.... if that's what you need.

Bought to tighten a 56mm sink waste compression fitting. Which is a fair size, but with the confined space and the size of the double up strap which is ‘riveted’ to itself, it was too stiff to gain a hold. Probably good for large jobs - definite no no for plumbing

Brilliant piece of kit! Bought to help release the lid of a Magna-Clean CH filter which hadn't been supplied with the original spanner set. Did the job perfectly and much less outlay than buying the original Magna-Clean spanner - but those are a stupid price anyway! The teeth on the belt help enormously with this task - reducing the likelihood of slipping by engaging with some of the teeth on the Magna-Clean lid. Very easy to use and the 9" version is plenty long enough for large diameter lids etc. Also great for getting tight lids of jam/sauce jars in the kitchen! A great price too. Very useful item to have in your toolbox or kitchen drawer :-)

Seems well enough made. Did the job of loosening some stuck water filter cartridges really easily, so I am happy.
