This folding knife has a locking blade.
Too often, I've been at restaurants or cookouts and been handed a dull knife to try to cut with. Having owned the Swiss Army brand for 42 years, I homed right in on this knife. It's sharp right out of the package, the blade locks open, the handle is non slip with a recess for your 4th finger, or your 3rd finger if you're Fred Flintstone.Because of the blade thickness, any of those v-shaped sharpeners will bring the edge right back, experience with the brand has taught me. What's really strange, though, is the rounded knife tip reminiscent of a child's safety scissors. Hey, Victornox! I promise I won't run with it!Round tip notwithstanding, I plan to get a lot of use out of this knife.I highly recommend this product.

Sharp bread knife for the restaurants that use dull bread and steak 🥩 knives
I don’t mash the bread loaves, and stretch the steaks 🥩! Love a folding steak knife!

Light, sharp and easy to carry.
I like this knife. Bought it for camping to cut food and works great for that purpose. Is equivalent in size and function as a steak knife.I was concerned that it does not have a point but it's sharp enough that it doesn't matter.It fits well in my pocket and is light enough that I don't notice it is there.This knife has no quick opening mechanism. 2 hands are required to open it. This is the primary reason I bought this over all other knives I looks at. Most of them have a single hand opening feature which would make them to easy to auto open in my pocket. No worries about that with this one.I don't like the color. Wish it was black. Also the shape of the blade is of a dinner knife which are known for being dull. And this one is razor sharp. Can see that causing an issue if someone assumes it is a dinner knife.

Okay++ < Great
This knife works well. I carry it in my lunch box. It's sharp, almost too sharp so I don't let it near my kids. I think I don't let it near the kids because it looks harmless. Some of the parents of our cub scout troop brought some of these for the bear soap carving. My kid got to use my old buck folding knife. I think the blade was much better on the buck knife because it was a lot shorter and easier for him to handle.

Very handy in our travel kit
Nicely made. When traveling we often fix a small evening meal in our lodgings. Our "old" knife was poorly made, hard to sharpen and seemed to dull easily. These knives stay sharp and are easy to sharpen on a regular stone (finished with a strop). Worth the money.

This is a good knife
This is a perfect portable utility knife to me. it follows the tomato knife pattern of having no tip, but really thats not a big deal for most things. this is a nice thin knife with a thin edge that processes carrots, potatoes etc with ease. it is an ideal length for slicing bagels etc in half and a good shape to use as a spreader knife.i think this is ideal as a picnic knife, or just a kitchen knife for people like me without good drawer space and storage.was not normal Victorinox sharp, it had a slight burr that was fixed easily.

Just what I wanted
I wanted a folding knife I can use to cut steak when eating out. I believe this Victorinox folding paring knive will work excellently. The blade is very sharp and it locks well. Minor comment, the lock mechanism is reversed to my other knives, but still works fine.
