DreadHeadHQ 8 oz Dreadlocks Soap

Best dread soap on the market. Not scented but when you dilute it (and you should) you can add a few drops of essential oil to your dilution bottle to make it any scent you want! I love adding grapefruit and tea tree. This shampoo rinses clean, which is especially great if you've got build-up from wax, or an inferior shampoo.

This soap is amazing. Lathers up great. Does the job. Cleaned my sons hair very well. Squeaky clean.

It works good enough but the smell is not that great

Tightened up my baby dreads on fine Caucasian hair. My whole head isn't done yet and it got the rest of my hair squeaky clean. No fragrance and nice lather. Easy to rinse. 10/20/17...update...my hair got very brittle and u had a lot of breaking. Had to switch to a treatment that shampoo, Monat, but I had already had 9 dreads break off by 5 months so cut out rest. Going to grow out and try again but will continue to use shampoo that strengthens my hair

This soap is pretty alright. It doesn’t have any of the ingredients that are harmful or build up in dreads as far as I can tell. I know a few people said a little goes a long way... I am an African American with pretty curly hair& it takes me quite a bit (3, maybe 4 quarter sized squeezes?) to get a slight lather out of this shampoo. It works very well though, don’t get me wrong! It just takes a little more for those that may have to put more oils in their hair.MAKE SURE YOU MOISTURIZE YOUR HAIR/SCALP AFTER WASHING!This shampoo truly leaves behind nothing that will build up in your hair, no oils... nothing! So please make sure you oil your scalp and tips after washing with this or, while it will be clean, you will have a very dry flakey scalp.I can’t say that I like it more than black soap, but this is definitely GREAT FOR CLARIFYING!

Most shampoos leave silicones and things in your locs leaving them dull looking . This is scent free but it really lathers nicely and leaves locs looking full and clean !!! Definitely moisturize afterwards !

The product works great for my natural locks. The bottle on the other hand has been loosely screwed on causing leakage during delivery. Mind you a replacement was sent yet that bottle leaked inside the package as well. I have to pay the price of 2 bottles that both are missing about 1/4 of the product..

I have curly but not coarse hair I had to take my dreads out because my hair is still not long enough and the extensions kept falling out and I had to redo them… However I am continuing to use the shampoo because the shampoos that I’ve used before this made my head itchy and this is the first shampoo that I’ve had in a long time that has stopped that ❤️ Once my hair is long enough I will put the extensions back in and I will definitely be continuing to buy this product
