Let's address it from the start. This does not taste like whisky. And you can't replicate the burn of distilled alcohol.What it does is reproduce many of the things you like from a good whisky - the spiciness, the smoke, the slightly medicinal flavour.It's way too intense to drink neat, but as a mixer, with cola or ginger beer for example, it's delicious.I gave up alcohol 8 months ago, and whilst I've found plenty of non-alcoholic beers that I enjoy, this is the first non-alcoholic spirit that I've enjoyed and bought more than once.£21 is a bit pricy for 500ml when there's no duty to pay, but this is a quality product.

After a purchase of clean G Gin (blown away by how good this was) I was excited to try a potential whisky alternative. Reviews here are mixed. I'm mindful this product does not claim to be a whisky alternative but rather a replacement for dark spirit. I love a smokey whisky but this had little smoke. Taste was very floral sorry but plain just did not like this. Tried straight and with coke, coffee and not nice in any form. Sorry - really wanted to like this! Please note others do like this so its personal preference and probably worth the financial outlay to try??? I think this is quite expensive though!

I bought this not expecting it to taste like any alcoholic drink-this helped!Jesus it’s smokey! The flavours are crazy intense-which is what you want and what the creators describe.I tried a Dandy Sour & used egg white instead of aqua faba. After getting over the initial thought of eating raw egg (😬) I took a sip and was hit with an incredibly strong taste, much more than what I was expecting. It had that ‘ouch’ of strong alcohol which again was unexpected.But Jesus Hells Bells! The SMOKE! I felt like I’d be in an 80’s working man’s club.My problem with homemade cocktails is I can’t be arsed making more than one-well you won’t need more than one of the Dandy Sour’s!I’m still not sure if I love it or tolerate it because of the price-this is not necessarily a bad thing.I am going to give the other cocktails a whirl and perhaps not guess my measurements this time!You really only need a small amount!I’m also keen on trying the other flavours & when I remortgage I will purchase a bottle or two.I do think if the guy/creator whipping the drinks up in the pictures could pop by mine and whip some up for me to sample, this would make the world of difference!Life’s to short-buy it!

Not what I was expecting. I was looking for something as a whisky and soda substitute. Whilst I was not expecting anything that tasted like whisky, I was not ready for its spicy heat and medicinal taste. I suspect it could work effectively in some modern cocktails - just not the ones that I like

When Coca-Cola stopped selling their special range of drinks, we forgot all about the smokey version until now! This CROSSIP Smoke is perfect for adding some complexity to your cola (we even use own-brand diet cola). A squeeze of lime, lots of ice and 25ml of this and you make a gorgeous complex drink.

I wanted to like this. I tried to like this. But it is utterly rank. Tastes like a leather tobacco pouch that went through the washing machine with a full load of grandpas favourite shag inside it, before being set on fire and subsequently extinguished using a damp dog that had spent an afternoon in a canal.I cannot stress enough that this is nothing like any peaty or smoky whiskey.

Quite liked it in making fake old fashioned. But the amount you need means your go through a bottle pretty quickly. Been a while since I finished the bottle and haven’t bought another one, so I guess, for me anyway, probably not worth it for how much it costs, and the fact that a fake old fashioned is still nothing like a real one!

Package arrived 3 days early compared to what was promised by Amazon, and all the bottles were well-protected in their own plastic bubble wrap.We tried several non-alcoholic cocktails which were recommend by Crossip and they were really delicious. Easy to mix and can make a large quantity of drinks. We tried some easy mixes as well with ginger beer or sodas and it was really good, making it easy to have a special drink. My favorite flavor is the Dandy Smoke (we tried them all), as I'm more of a whiskey drinker usually and it has this complex smokiness to it, which you really taste in cocktails.
