Pretty nice unit for the price, haven't used the tig yet while I wait to get my argon but the plasma cutter works great. Unit does not have a plug on the cord when it arrives. has 2 thick and 1 thin wires, the 2 thick are your 220v positives and the thin is the ground. The shielding gas preflow and postflow is not adjustable. Instant preflow and about a ten second postflow. I knocked 1 star off because not only does the seller know absolutely nothing about the product they are selling so they can answer no questions you might have but their grasp of English is poor enough that they give you an answer to a question that you didn't ask and don't answer what you did ask. The unit is very small and light so it is very portable. I would and have recommended friends to buy. Google ct312 and you will see some very bad quality control issues so when you get it I recommend going through the whole thing to make sure all connections are tight and all nuts bolts and screws are tight. Mine had none of the problems I saw online. The only big detractor is the inability to add a pedal for better control but at this price it's still a great deal.

Bought this unit last January. Took it out of box set it up as directed. Couldn't get it to work. After spending much time trouble shooting it, they said it was a bad striking plate , so they would send another and not to worry. . . Well it's been five months now !

Got it fast hooked it up cut like butter went to use it a second time did not work didn't have enough power to stick weld contacted buyer for return or exchange.

Didn't even get to use it, had it all set up ready to try and it didn't work at all, when I tried to return the damnd thing to Amazon they had no record of me even buying the thing at all...!!!!!

Being that I'm just starting back into welding, this is a perfect basic model for the hobbyist. Yes, it is hit or miss sometimes on Chinese made products like this, but mine was a hit. The consumables are economical as well.
